I’m disappointed that this is all we’ll hear about for a week to be honest.

The club could’ve just made a short statement on the website advising fans to stay away. Wouldn't have changed a thing but would prevent this horrible media narrative.
 
Can an FOI request be submitted to identify if there was a government request for this ?
 
Does this mean plod will now actively be patrolling the Glasgow parks at the weekend telling everyone to go home??? I think Not. I have witnessed them walk by team handed groups of youths drinking and playing music and do nothing. On many, many occasions.
 
They were always going to release a statement after everyone highlighting what happened - ie an escort to George Sq.

Best ignored and continue as is; I predict this is what will happen, anyway.

Surely it's not our fault we won the league too quickly! I get they didn't have time to prepare but that's not our fault for skooshing the league by the 1st week of March!
 
Prior to the Natz taking power, the Police were politically neutral.

They are now part of the Natz Dictatorship and this statement will have been ordered from Holyrood, as part of the blame shifting process.

1. She hates Unionists and everything our club stands for, so this is a chance to put the boot in and keep her Republican target audience happy.

2. It keeps her off the front pages of the papers and eases the pressure on her, after last weeks disaster of an appearance in front of the Salmond Enquiry Committee ... Assuming she can remember that far back.

The common purpose trained careerist leadership of the force (sorry service) that I have dealt with are very different from rank and file officers.

How many txts and phone calls have there been to orchestrate this onslaught?

Scotland is a banana republic with every organ within the public realm desperate to be onside with the ruling party.

It’s appropriate to blame individuals for flouting laws but the way the club has been roped into this is really sinister.

Does the SNP government accept responsibility for the behaviour of all independence supporters? Do police issue statements castigating the party for failing to control them?
 
I would have asked them all politely to go home but I was too busy throwing my kids in front of police transit vans.

it’s no surprise sturgeon had a go at the fans , then swinney came out swinging and now the police .

a politically controlled force , whose top brass are all pro snp and who are out of touch with the officers on the street .
 
Someone told me yesterday one of their prominent social media tadgers is calling on thousands of them to get to the Knew Camp and ensure there is no celebrations in their back yard - be very interesting if this happens and what the backlash is then!

It always come back to is we have no voice. No political party to fight our corner. Unionist vote is split and the Nationalists will win again in May.

Only raging Nationalists are promoted to the top tier positions in police Scotland or BBC Scotland etc so when something like this comes along it’s open season and it’s all coordinated. We have no real way to fight back.
