2011 I was in Stalida in Crete. I had found a bar that was showing a Bears game (can't remember against who) and got talking to 2 English guys, an Everton fan and Tranmere fan. We were joined by a non-obvious tim (no green and grey top) who, prima facie, seemed ok. Talk got around to football and the Everton fan stated that English football was becoming as bad as Scottish football, in terms of competitiveness, and only 3 clubs had won the league in the new millennium. The green and greyer laughed and pointed out that both Aberdeen and Dundee United had won the league in the 80's
