Tonight, five organisations from Scotland will receive the highest honour for defence - friendly employers from Chief of the Defence Staff General, Sir Nick Carter - at a ceremony in The National Army Museum.

Rangers Football Club & Rangers Charity Foundation are the first British football club to receive an ERS Gold Award as part of the Armed Forces Convent.

As someone who has spent their career working closely with our armed forces (RN), this makes me incredibly proud of our club.

Proud of the club and RCF.

No surprise the other recipients include Edinburgh government and a university - their Glasgow equivalents will no doubt be banning poppies soon in a show of solidarity with their fave football team.
