A solid, confident and commanding win. It's been a long long time since we've done that with any sort of conviction.

Players actually looked like they were enjoying themselves. Which they haven't done for while.

Great to see Dessers get his goal. That will do his confidence the world of good. Especially getting to come off the pitch to applause.

Some seeds of progress on show. Happy as anything with that performance. Get some of the injured lads back and go from there.
 
Well, that was enjoyable. A great performance to a man and finally taking some of our chances. Sima worked his socks off all day upfront, midfield and even in defence. Clement said he doesn't have a magic wand but he's obviously got something. Well played Rangers, every single player on that park.

I can confirm that Robertson is a cheat.

The Hivs CF was hanging on to Souttar's shirt, stopping him breaking forward. That's a yellow in every match on the planet, except when Don Robertson is reffing and the foul is against Rangers.
We should be making a complaint.
 
Much better performance from us today. Better movement, determination and positional awareness on the park. We weren't as weak in 50/50s today and scrapped for everything which is much more like a Rangers team. Still a bit ropey during turnovers but that can be worked on. Keeper had one save to make at his near post in the first half but other than that Hibs got nothing from us.

Raskin playing 10 yards further forward is where he can affect the play by breaking it up and intercepting passes etc and scored a great goal from 25 yards too. Sima frightened the life out of them and rightly so the big man was a constant nuisance and deserved his two goals first being a very nicely placed goal from just inside the box and his second near bust the net. The goal of the day for me was Cantwell to Dessers what a goal. Cantwell on the edge of the box draws the Hibs defence towards the overlapping Tav anticipating the pass but he cuts it inside to find Dessers in space who gets himself a yard taking out the Hibs defence and rolls it into the bottom corner of Marshals net. Oh yes!

MOTM Sima.
 
Gave my vote to Dessers. Its obviously Sima but for Dessers to keep going and not panic or freeze to get his goal took a good amount of mental strength.

Dessers deserved that goal as well.his finish was cool as you like,didn’t trash at it just placed in the corner.
 
All round good performance - Tav and Goldson looked much more switched on and probably their best performances of the season.

Cantwell - play him in Lammers position and he will rack up some numbers
 
Only know the result, how did we play? Was it very different from Beale? i.e not awful to watch
Not expecting a miracle here in improvement, but we’re there signs of positive steps made?
 
Solid performance - Sima picking up where he left off, looks our brightest player atm. Raskin looked like he had a bit more freedom to burst forward and turned in one of his best performances for us so far. Happy for Dessers to get a goal today, his workrate was fantastic. Cantwell back on the pitch is a big bonus too, that pass for Dessers was class!

Overall very happy with both the performance and the result, and up against a team who've been in good form recently too. Early days but positive signs from the new Gaffer.
 
Well that was a bit good.
From 1st the last minute we were on it
Very enjoyable and great to see Dessers get a goal hopefully builds from there.
Everyone played their part today and was great to see Cantwell and danilo back.
A positive start. May that level of performance be the rule.

Overall very different. A team performance. Less reliance on fullbacks. Second half in particular was very good.

Nice to see them step up, sima continues to impress me more and more and you could see he was chokin to get his hat trick

Trying not to read too much into this result but at the same time was ready to sing we’ve got our rangers back by the 70th minute, no one could accuse me of getting over indulged and too quick to commit eh B-)

You've failed to acknowledge the countless balls both of them either gave away or wasted throughout the game. I personally don't rate either of them especially Dessers but that's my opinion. I will say again, fantastic result but I believe we will be much better when we get injuries back to full fitness and in the team for 90 minutes.
 
That pass from Cantwell to set Dessers up was the single most enjoyable piece of football I’ve witnessed since we took the lead in the Europe League final. Top top drawer.
 
Just on way home from game. Delighted with that. Every player put in a performance. The defence was sound with Tav and Goldson particularly good. Midfield was strong and pressed hard. Raskin and Lundstram bossed it. Lammers put in a shift. Dessers was diabolical for 60 minutes then woke up and looked a lot better. Delighted he got his goal. You could see the other players were chuffed for him. Cantwell eas just class when he came on. That reverse pass for the goal was just porn. We’ve really missed him. But MOM by a mile was Sima. What a player he’s becoming. All over the pitch. Makes goals. Takes goals. Absolutely destroyed the opposition today. Great performance all round and now I’m feeling confident again.

Nice to see the players show some self belief again. I suppose our detractors will point to how lamentable Hibs were, but we can leave that for another day.

Lets just enjoy a comprehensive victory to mark the start of a new reign, and some good performances throughout the squad

Just home and have to say really enjoyed that. Fighting for every ball and winning it nearly everytime. A lot of great performances but Sima was excellent, so powerful down that line. Can you ebelive we had shape B-D
 
Thought it was a good overall performance against a pretty poor looking Hibs team.
Good points :bit more tempo throughout, Sima, Lundstrum.
Poor stuff: Lammers and Dessers were awful. Lets see if Dessers goal can change him.
Was disappointed that we started passing the ball back in the last 10 mins when we could have been looking for more.

Overall, a much better outlook tonight! Lets see what happens next.
 
Gutted not to have been there; but well pleased with the scoreline; and the manner of which it was achieved. Quite the statement made; and a marker laid down to the rest.

Only seen the second half, look like a different team.
Pressing all over the pitch, passing and moving and urgency with the ball.
More than happy with every thing and in particular the goals.
Excellent result.
