Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.Okay Mark, that makes sense.
I wonder if they'll do a 90-in-90 on RTV. They'd need to cut out all open play.
I did thinkWish they scored 16 so they could do a 16 in 90
Certainly beats the 14-2 male record. Is that not a club record make or female ?
No. The newly promoted Glasgow Girls and Women FC.Was it Glasgow City they played? Thought GC were one of the top teams.
Would have thought so but it kind of adds even more weight as to why the womens team achievements shouldn’t be mixed with the mens team as the standard is miles apartIs that not a club record make or female ?
Not this pish again. It's been a decent thread but there's always someone who can't help themselves.Would have thought so but it kind of adds even more weight as to why the womens team achievements shouldn’t be mixed with the mens team as the standard is miles apart
We keep getting told women’s football is different and comparisons can’t be made with the men’s game in terms of standard. Not this pish again. It's been a decent thread but there's always someone who can't help themselves.
Every match thread is polluted by the 'women's fitba's shite' brigade. It is dull and tedious. We keep getting told women’s football is different and comparisons can’t be made with the men’s game in terms of standard.
However, when it suits the argument, there are people more than happy to say that records in the women’s game are comparable with that of the men’s.
You can’t have it both ways.
Like it or not we all know that a half-decent men’s team from the higher levels of non-league football in England would beat the Lionesses nine times out of ten.
However, we’re not allowed to make that comparison.
Therefore, it is ridiculous to compare a 14-0 win for Rangers ladies against a part-time team in the SWPL with goals scored by the men’s team against fellow professionals in the SPFL.
9 times it of 10? You're a bit generous there. We keep getting told women’s football is different and comparisons can’t be made with the men’s game in terms of standard.

It’s not pish. Someone mentioned it being a club record and included the mens records hence my comment. Not this pish again. It's been a decent thread but there's always someone who can't help themselves.
Of course they would based on physicality but I can guarantee the Lionesses are able to do things with a football the non league players could only dream ofWe keep getting told women’s football is different and comparisons can’t be made with the men’s game in terms of standard.

typical bbcBit of a farce trying to find the game. Now it's just saying back soon.
22-0 is the club record against Falkirk FCF.Is that not a club record make or female ?
The only 3 professional teams in the league.Rangers, Celtic and Glasgow City win by a combined 30-0 in their 3 games.
So far apart from the rest of the league.
14-1 in the cup last season. In terms of it being a record score line, did the womens team not beat Stenhousemuir last season by a similar score line? Can’t remember exactly what it was that day if it was more or less than 14
I will happily watch women’s football but I will not accept it being compared with Men’s when it comes to statistics.Every match thread is polluted by the 'women's fitba's shite' brigade. It is dull and tedious.
If it's not a poster's cup of tea then fine. But let's not constantly rehash the same argument.
