Seems our young keeper had an exceptional night and started his career in the top flight with a clean sheet.

Livingston head coach Gary Holt: "Robby McCrorie, for his debut and being a young lad coming in, was exceptional.

"His handling was perfect - he knew when to come and stay and helped the boys in front of him. He made crucial saves and didn't look flustered."

Well done young man.

Had seen the result but wasn’t sure if he had much to do during the game. Sounds like a good performance. Hope he continues in the same vein.

Having watched the game back on alba he was excellent. Made a couple of impressive saves. He did come out his goal and got beaten to a ball....that his defence eventually cleared. Otherwise he was rock solid. Top flight debut and a clean sheet. Well done!!

You get the feeling that Robbie might be the real deal, impressive at QOS and a good start in the top flight, heard nothing but positives about him. Would a successful spell at Livi be enough to earn him the no.2 jersey next season though?.

Remember that Rangers only signed Ross McCrorie because they wanted to sign Robby first!

Great to read.
It seems his future is in his own hands.
I hope it’s with us.

There is no point him wasting on the bench as number 2 next season. He needs games to develop.

So loan him out until he’s ready to take his place as number 1.

The coaching staff see him as having top potential but they want him to gradually ease into playing in bigger games and bigger stages. It’s to do with making mistakes as a goalkeeper at a young age and learning how to handle it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he got loaned out to someone bigger than Livingston next season - day Hearts or Hibs or even an EFL Championship side.

That's a huge compliment from their manager. Sounds like the perfect debut. I like loaning to Livingston, they seem to offer players a great chance.

Great experience and for his development. I hope the lad makes it as our first choice keeper in a couple of years.

A fine double save from that imposter MOH well done keep it up. It will have done his confidence a lot of good as well to get his team mates and manager to see what he is capable of.

Great for him to get experience against the type of players he would be playing against week in week out if he becomes number 1.
