Roughly €18.3m Made in Prize Money and Ticket Sales from QR1 to Now

That's not the only financial windfall though, as Celtic 's elimination will also provide a boost in revenue.

The television market pool of €168m is divided among the clubs based on the value of each TV market, with half going to clubs from every nation which reached the group stage according to their market share.

But the other half, around €13.4m for the last 16, is split equally among the participating clubs from each nation - again ranked by market share.

Rangers and Celtic would have had to split the revenue 50-50 for the last 16, but with the Hoops going out Rangers will now receive all of the Scottish share of the €13.4m on offer.

In addition, they're also guaranteed at least one extra home game and the gate money that will come with it.

No doubt the players and management will be heavily bonused on progression so that will be a factor in terms of profit. The price of success... glorious isnt it :)

Yes, but see post #48 for the 'real' figure rather than the 13.4m Euros figure they try to suck you in with. In reality we will be around £500k better off from their elimination.

Obviously not champions league type money but still huge for us. Not to mention the feel good factor that goes along with it, gives us all a big boost.

I’m glad to see success on the park is reaping rewards for Rangers as I won’t lie, it is a worry sometimes when you think of wage bills etc. and after coming so far since 2012 it’s brilliant to see even brighter times on the horizon at Ibrox.

The tv nonsense from the record is made to make it look like we’re getting £13m. Do the math. Works out around £800k we will get

It’s apparently true that we get 100% of tv revenue as the only remains Scottish team - £11.2 million . That puts everything into perspective just how much revenue SG and the team have pulled in over 2 seasons .
That would make it even better if true.
It’s true for the round of 16 Rangers will pick up the full share of that revenue

There are 13.4 M euros for that round. Whatever the split is to each national association, Rangers will get all of it as the only rep.

Edit, just seen post 47 which is a great summary.

We will get circa £1m by my calculation - which is about £500k more than we would have got had the Dhims qualified as well. Nice of them to give us a wee bonus. See post #48 for a (very) rough breakdown.

The Record are suckering folk in with their misleading stuff about the 13.4m Euros.

No doubt the SFA will come out with some jumped up charge after our next game in order to try and take some money away.
They will want to give it to their friends across the city for having lost out on qualification!!

Read the Express who are saying about one million from EUFA and we have to add gate money etc to that.

No more ginger in single malt. (had to have been the cost factor).

In layman's, will we get:
£1M for progressing to the last 16
£1M for TV (but it would've only been £500k if timothy made it through)
Circa £2M in ticket sales

Is that right?

Sounds about right mate. Ticket sales a bit of an unknown since we don’t know prices or whether we will have any sections closed by UEFA. In the ballpark though, I’d have thought

Do we get all the share of Scotland’s knockout money now they’re out?

Saw this on Twitter: Rangers and Celtic would have had to split the revenue 50-50 for the last 16, but with the Hoops going out Rangers will now receive all of the Scottish share of the €13.4m on offer.

Yes we do :))
