Another contribution from the bench today. Glad he got the contract extension. Very intelligent player for us and seems to always know when to make the perfect run into the box.
His footballing brain is quality, he will be a great super sub for us this season and will likely get 15 goals from the bench.Another contribution from the bench today. Did you miss our game on Wednesday. He seems to be very effective from the bench.
His third man runs cause problems to defences in Scotland.
Not sure I'd use him too much from the start, or in Europe.
I saw the first 50 minutes, and highlights of the rest. I take it from your comment he was good in the parts I missed.Did you miss our game on Wednesday.
Anybody that knows football (sounds wanky but true) will tell you his type of runs are a nightmare.
Just will take you places you either don’t want to go or places you didn’t realise you were
Yes.I saw the first 50 minutes, and highlights of the rest. I take it from your comment he was good in the parts I missed.
Apart from me I'd agree.Livingstons finest.
You just know that he’s a massive personality in the dressing room.
Yip. Like Livi away trailing 1-0.An asset as an impact sub, when there is more space and game is more open.
That’s like my auld granny. She’d pack us into her Fiesta with us thinking we were going to the shops and we’d end up eating sandwiches on the beach for a mid-November picnic.Anybody that knows football (sounds wanky but true) will tell you his type of runs are a nightmare.

Indeed, great impact sub & changed the game with opposition tiring and us pressing in waves. You see him as 1st team starter?Yip. Like Livi away trailing 1-0.
His legs are probably at 85% of what they were when he joined but he has the brain and knowledge to be there, contributing.
Apparently up at the amongst the top of the fitness charts pre-season.
He’s still go it.
No, I was merely suggesting that he can also make a positive impact on games that aren't open as you suggested.Indeed, great impact sub & changed the game with opposition tiring and us pressing in waves. You see him as 1st team starter?
The amount of utter wafflin pish that’s been written about him on here is shocking, yet he still comes out with the goods, very often in the biggest games.Every close season for the last three seasons we get the usual summer thread on here saying he shouldn't get another contract and it's time to move him on. And before August is out it is found out for what it is.
The ramblings of people who's football insight and knowledge could be written on the side of a stamp never mind on the back of one.
SupersubLove Scotty Arfield. What he lacks in ability, he more than makes up for in effort. Great player to have as part of the squad.
If he has morphed into this role for this season, the Contract extension will be worth it. A very clever player, good movement and creative. His footballing brain is quality, he will be a great super sub for us this season and will likely get 15 goals from the bench.
yup living in their heads 'that shite falkirk player saluting his way to the title' I watch that on you tube every week so funny. He also kicked the lego muncher off the park when we beat them 1-0 at Ibrox. the drop ball was so good laid into. that fannyScored 2 against the maggots he's living the dream. Man love for Scotty ,
