Thanks mate. The bars are in the Malasaña area and the Lavapies area. You can easily hop from one bar to another in either area.
Both right close to digs, one north one south - we’re just next to Plaza Mayor

@Sydney Bear should make it clear, Malasaña is just North of Gran Vía (the Main Street) and Lavapies is about a 15 minute walk south of Sol.The bars are in the Malasaña area and the Lavapies area. You can easily hop from one bar to another in either area.
I’m on the return train back to Madrid your on ,Hi folks,
Seen a few posts getting lost in threads when discussing Madrid. I've booked a train ticket Weds 8am to Seville and back the next day on the 7am
Flying 17th Gla - LHR - Mad for 22.50 and back 19th 14.55 Mad - LHR - Edi with Iberia.
Anyone on this route?
There’s another area right next to you called La Latina, plenty bars there too. Thanks mate.

I've booked with them, I sent the money by PayPal. Spoke with them today, they were working until the early hours this morning. Apparently they're sending out booking confirmation/itinerary today. I asked about the departure time incase it went to extra time and penalties. The girl I spoke with said she'll be there and will do her best to get everyone onto the flight and it might be delayed to allow for that.
If there's enough of us here travelling with them, is it worth us booking a bus to take us back to the airport?
I used to travel a bit to away Euro matches and everytime returning home there was little to no security, last time was Valencia in 2009 mind you pre Brexit so it might be different now. But back then they tried to get everyone onto the aircraft asap.
I am in same boat mate, would be up for thatThat's good to hear as deffo a bit concerned about getting back. I'll be meeting up with mates over there but obviously different travel plans so will heading back solo. it might be worth setting up a whats app group if there are a few of us on our own so we can try and at least stay in touch with whats happening regards to taxis etc?

You’re going to struggle that, but maybe a few bars open towards Lavapies until 1/2am.staying at the Paseo del Arte near the station
Paseo del Arte
Probably not at the hotel till near midnight
Any pubs near that stay open beyond that?
This sounds like it might be a good shout. Like @DeBear, I'm happy to pitch in for any taxi/bus back to Seville airport after the game if there's enough numbers to get one going.I've booked with them, I sent the money by PayPal. is that far from hotel? You’re going to struggle that, but maybe a few bars open towards Lavapies until 1/2am.
I have done a few trips with CTM this year and pre Covid. For Leipzig we had to wait on our coach well over an hour after the game for a police escort to take us the 2 hour journey to Erfurt airport where the three flights back went from. Only football flights then and although there was a queue for security it wasn’t slow to get through.I've booked with them, I sent the money by PayPal. 10 minute walk to be honest. There’s a lot of bars behind the Caixa Forum Museum, might be worth a scout close to Calle Santa María.is that far from hotel?
Google found a dancin near Sol station open till 5amYou’re going to struggle that, but maybe a few bars open towards Lavapies until 1/2am.

Looking for space for 4 mate.Anybody looking for transport from Malaga around 12:30 on matchday to Seville and returning around 2am after the game…give me a shout. Cheers

Getafe isn’t technically Madrid. It’s a bit like Paisley, another town but very close to the city.I’m staying in getafe
Can I get train from Madrid airport?
Plenty bars. Mostly in the centre and Irish (only Irish in name) Bars. Best one for screens in James Joyce in Calle Alcalá, just next to Cibeles fountain.Should the worst happen and there’s nothing planned for Seville for ticketless fans, how would it be watching the game in Madrid @madridista ? Plenty sports bars to choose from?
We are also getting the morning train back to Madrid but will be a long night waiting for it! Was there ever any buses looked at or not enough interest?
Cheers!
PM’d you mate.Anybody looking for transport from Malaga around 12:30 on matchday to Seville and returning around 2am after the game…give me a shout. Cheers

Aye you’ll be fine. Bus is 5€ from Airport to Atocha.Anyone on the Heathrow flight with Iberia on the Tuesday night in at 22.50? Happy to share a taxi in to Atocha. Had planned a bus @madridista - is that best if traveling alone?
that is cutting it tight. Game finishes 11pm ( assuming no extra time) then need to exit ground and find buses - 11.30. Traffic will be horrendous so could take at least an hour to get to airport 12.30. Then still got to get through security etc and get to gate half an hour before departure
Any delays and it will lead to missed flights
What time is your flights?Got 2 manchester to valencia flights. Tue 17th til friday 20th flying with ryanair. Had orginally booked car hire from valencia to cordoba then train to seville for game day but can no longer go.
Looking for price i paid £112 for the 2. Flight now selling at 240 and sold out on way home
Ryanair name change is £115 per person
Plenty bars. Mostly in the centre and Irish (only Irish in name) Bars. Best one for screens in James Joyce in Calle Alcalá, just next to Cibeles fountain.
PMd you matePM me your number mate and I can start one. Anyone else that wants to join just do the same
Tuesday 17thWhat time is your flights?
How easy is it to change passengers on a Ryanair flight.
Arranged this with another poster on here (much appreciated that man).
Having never done it before I’m not really sure what it involves.
Probably not as hefty as what the flight prices are coming in at just now booking from scratch! You'll need to pay a hefty amount to change names.
View may be a little obscured from thereCan anyone tell me times/info for ctm flight on Wednesday morning, lad in work has had an email saying he has got a space flight + ticket £715 but looks dodgy at this stage.
Probably not, think it's £115 to change names.Probably not as hefty as what the flight prices are coming in at just now booking from scratch!
Not a definite yet as still trying to bookAssume this is the case but are the trains in Spain (…) all ticket affairs? I.e. you can’t just board without a reservation? Due to a bit of indecision, struggling to arrange transport back from Seville to Madrid to catch our 1545 flight on the Thursday 19th back to Heathrow. May need to offer 4x flights for sale so early interest appreciated.

Just saw this, thanks for the offer, really appreciate it but I didn’t want to take any risk and booked a car a few days back.I’m at the Clube Alvorferias about 5 mins away. I arrive on Sunday. I’ve booked an 8 seater through the hotel to take us to Seville as a plan B so we can arrange to get you and your boy.
