Not for me, i do think he would score a few but he wouldn't get alot of gametime in our current squad, I liked the look of the boy for Sparta Prague who scored 3 against them, looked like a real good finisher

I still think we should be looking at Shankland for league level games.

Seeing his goals this season, interrupted by injury, and his movement overall.

Defoe will leave a void when he goes. We do need backup players.

No where near the level of our squad.

Whilst it’s great to have Bluenoses in team, they absolutely have to be good enough. I haven’t seen anything from Shankland to suggest he is.

We will quite possibly need 2 strikers this summer, to replace Defoe and likely Alfie as well if he finally gets his move he wants.

But we need a far higher standard than Shankland. He isn’t a terrible player, just an average SPFL one and we need better.

can't say I see in Alfredo a player who wants away ...has he said recently ?
