A giant of English sport.

I became aware of Bobby charlton mostly though documentaries about George Best and he always reminded me of a real life version of Hotshot Hamish in the comics. His shots had so much power that they looked like would bust the net sometimes. Imagine what he would have done on modern pitches and modern footballs.

A complete gentleman and legend of the game both for Man U and England.

Another great man cut down by dementia. A terrible disease. Saw him live several times playing for United when they came down to London. Lucky enough to have seen Best, Law and Charlton in the same team.
