Solari Is New Real Madrid Manager

They either had to hire someone else or offer him the job because you can't be a caretaker in Spain for longer than a fortnight - probably be sacked once they have "a name" to appoint.

what about his sister :D

Something is amiss at RM. Pochettino would have jumped at that reported offer otherwise. Apparently is family are not enjoying life the UK and he’s spoken of Real before so.......

Can't see him lasting all that long but in fairness - he isn't doing a bad job. Won 4 games on the trot which is something Lopetegui didn't manage. Seems to have got them playing again - not sure what was going on before but the players just didn't seem to get Lopetegui at all.

Poisoned chalice.

You have a bunch of aging players that want to rule the roost, a board that meddles, success of a the last few seasons that you can't hope to replicate with the resources at hand, a need to improve on last seasons awful domestic performance despite the fact that the best player in the world who averaged over a goal a game for the club is gone and no money to spend as the previous manager threw most of the transfer and wage budget away on players they simply did not need (Courtois, Mariano and Vinicus at a cost of over 92m)

Every top manager in Europe that hadn't had the job (and some that already have like Zidane) was offered it and laughed.

If he manages to finish second and nab the Copa Del Rey he might last until next season. That's probably best case scenario, though.
