This is another great effort (needs tweekedband trimmed imo) that will sadly fall off the radar. We need to find a way of getting the better efforts out there. My only real criticism of the UB is they are pish poor at getting original songs introduced, they have had years to get their act together and failed miserably. Sadly GB are streets ahead

It's not baffling (disappointing yes!!) bud. It's just lazy. Looking for easy option (to be fair some people don't care about originality, which is fine) and the Defoe one was an easy option.

It's all down to what the fans want. To be like Arsenal, Chelsea fans who are hopeless at songs. Or something close to Liverpool, never be as good at introducing songs as they are the masters, but at least give the players a song of their own.
