Pity Martinez has won the aforementioned accolade. His goal sealed the Libertadores victory over Boca:

Gallardo won manager of the year with Ricardo Gareca finishing second and Tata Martino coming third.

Team of the year is dominated by River players:

The two Martinezs, Almiron and Villalba. Some team for an MLS club tbf

Almiron will probably be leaving.

The player to really watch is Barco. At 18 (now 19) he led Independiente to the Sudamerican - he was the leader of the team.
