Not sure if it’s still the case but different regions in Germany have different rules as regards betting sponsors, Werder Bremen had difficulties with this a few years back when they were sponsored by Bwin.

The Government here banned betting sponsorship in October 2020, coming into effect for the 2021/22 season.

I understand not everyone is on board with gambling but I find the whole preachiness of banning products from being advertised is too controlling.
I hate the whole concept of veganism but I don’t want it banned.

If I am wrong I am wrong, I thought they were but a few posters making valid points about Unibet in Germany.
My post wasn't to take away from the charity by the way, it's a great gesture either way as before we've went with a sponsorless shirt in those situation.

Quite a few things come up when you search don’t they, I noticed that one. Most firms are dodgy at the end of the day, just the nature of gambling firms all in all - sad reality.
