Don’t bother with friendlies but good opportunity for fans that can’t go to Ibrox to see the team and good way to introduce younger fans.

Although there will definitely be a few sheep teaming up with their London pals for this.

I’ve never been to a quality preseason friendly in terms of action and it’s debatable how effective they actually are in terms of sharpening sharpness.

May well be better off splitting the squad into Reds vs Blues.

Still, if they’re going to arrange them at least get a big club with good support along and Spurs fit the bill nicely.

Just hope they’re not an omnishambles at the time they arrive.
