Might sound daft and more than a little cynical, but game management with the multi ball system has changed the game. Slender lead, defender launches ball into row z, clears danger and wastes time. Now its probably more advantageous to hit it low off the advertising/stadium walls etc so the ball comes back on pitch.

Roofe now starts as striker imo over morelos. Offers as much holding the ball up and happy to make the runs in the channels etc. Gives you more i think
