To my fellow bears, does anyone have any details of Rangers Supporters Clubs in South Africa? I am hoping to visit Capetown and Jo'burg next August.

Clad to hear it's a bit more organised now , probably due to social media.
Back in the seventies 76/77 a crowd of us started having " Rangers " nights in downtown Johannesburg, they were good but dates & venues getting changed meant it filtered away.
Although there were plenty of sash bashes in the pubs & clubs in Hillbrow. I know there's a few posters on FF who enjoyed these spur of the moment sessions.

I believe they still meet at Madeira bar, or they certainly did in the last year

City centre was like a dumping ground and looked to be full of villains and Black market stalls. An absolute shit tip.

Although when I left the city centre and drove around the outskirts it improved massively. I felt really welcome in Soweto and visited Mandella's house/museum etc.
