Taking stock from today

Thought we were quite poor first half with Lundstram giving the ball away countless times. His passing ability is severely limited in a key position on the park. Matondo refused point blank to go beyond his full back and with Sterling right footed our LHS was non existent. Sima going off also had a negative effect on our play. I found it strange in the first half watching Hearts dominate the ball for long spells in a semi final against us.

Much better second half with Cantwell making the main difference and better input from Sterling and Diomande.

Maybe a bit harsh but I don't think McCausland is going to see much game time next season. Clement will be looking for a much bigger, more powerful type of player to play that position.

He's a very fortunate lad to have played so much. At present nowhere near the standard required for us.

When he first came into the team when Clement came over, I think everyone got ahead of themselves as he was something different to what we'd been seeing under Beale. But as you say, for where we want to be he's nowhere near that standard.

At times, it was miles better than the last couple of weeks.

Matondo a 5 though, he was absolutely honking.

A 5 is very generous, he’s not good enough for Livingston.
