That goal - the luck we’ve been missing

For months we’ve been on the receiving end of some awful calls, not only in our games, but that lot getting away with murder with late goals and the like.

In front of goal, we’ve not had much luck, but just maybe with that goal bouncing off Roofe it’s the luck we’ve needed.

It feels massive.

We can't afford to ride our luck like this though. Today's gonna be forgotten about rapidly - but can you honestly say we look like keeping a winning streak up?

Correct.

There was a ricochet early in the first half that went inches past the post. That's the breaks we've not been getting

It only feels massive because if we dropped anymore points we’d have been better off getting David Graham dropping the trophy off at the piggery when he left Ibrox tonight.

Winning is all that matters now.

But we struggled against the 10th worse team in the league who we previously failed to beat.

Feels like we hardly ever get the fortunate deflections or touches that lead to balls falling right in the path of our forwards. So I’d say that was long overdue.

When they play against us, they are the third best team in the country on every single occasion.
They hate us with a passion.

This definitely.

i’ll happily take that luck and the 3 points that came with it. it can’t help but feel let down by the overall performance on such a momentous day but i suppose that in itself is a testament to the club - its not always pretty and it not always easy but in the end the famous will stay on top and come out shining. here’s to another 150 years

Too right we are due a bit after some of the decisions we’ve seen this season. Hopefully started at the right time.

I’ve been praying for late goals against Dundee United, Motherwell and now Aberdeen, all in the space of a couple of weeks.

That being the case, regardless of the outcome is indicative of the sorry state we are in.

Roofe scores today because unlike Morelos he knows his role and plays upfront not out wide or in the middle.
Morelos gets goals if he stays upfront we saw that when Go first came in.

Interesting to listen to Hagi on rtv. When they mentioned it being a lucky break he pulled them up and insisted it wasn’t luck. Said he’s been watching games to improve himself and was noticing that Roofe was always following in on his shots.
