Absolute nonsense statement, having worked in the selling of beer for decades and all that entails of trying products against benchmarks Tennents is not a bad lager. Its for sale in some pubs but down here we prefer our lager to taste good.
I don’t think they are being seriousThe Louden (one of best Rangers pubs in the city) is open for bluenoses after a pandemic, and we're arguing about Carling.
Fu cking he'll. We're a strange breed.
I'd drink in there tonight, if I could.

Where else bar Blackpool is Tennents sold on tap in England? I’ve never seen it anywhere bar one place in Carlisle.
Bizzarely popular in Italy on draught, would love to know the back story.See the Tennents Super purple can in plenty of off licenses in London but never seen the conventional yellow can.
I remember they sponsored Preston a few years ago so assumed they were about to try and target the English market. Didn’t seem to happen thoughI'll have a scout around next time Im out and about. Its not a beer I look for.
Much prefer Staropramen myself, which is why I’m currently sipping a cold one in your beer garden.
The Czech Carling....
Sounds delicious.
