Was walking by the Louden to the Subway some years ago when RM handed my grandson an Easter egg he has never forgotten, it was just a nice gesture so he cannot wait to get a pre match or post match pint there when of age.We are counting down the years till both get a pint in the Louden.
Great Gers pub and will always have my support.
Visited often myself pre match and post match also and it never disappoints.

It’s a great touch.

I don’t even buy for the family anymore - we just head to the Louden early and collect a few, then down to the Grapes to eat them.

On a serious note, it’s very generous and something he doesn’t need to do so fair play.

On a serious note, any plans to reinstate some outdoor toilets again?

Always stand out the back and last few times trying to get inside to the pisher has been brutal trying to squeeze through the crowd and then again coming out

The outdoor portaloo’s were ideal for those on one side of the outdoor bar to save wading through the bodies to get indoors
 
That’s me sorted for Easter, take my youngest past the Louden to get an egg, change jackets and repeat.

That really is a kind gesture. Reading here, it means more to several of the kids than just another piece of chocolate. You've got a great boozer there Robert. Every game I manage to get to, it's straight in to the Louden for a wee double Southern Comfort, and a wee scurry over the road for the game. Great place and always jumping.
 
What non alcoholic beers are available? Think I need to drive on Sunday :rolleyes:

Always make a point of going in when I'm down to games (which sadly is less these days due to health issues).
