surely marseillies fans have not heard of the bold andy:))
 
Wouldn't mind some big money offers for some of our players...next season of course. We're opening eyes across the world with the product of our play at all different age levels. I would caveat this with saying we achieved good results Vs Marseille, Watford and Sheffield Wednesday under Pedro.
But if any fans deserve the right to dream it's us and the dream is 55. Don't let us down boys

but, but, according to some jack was poor.
 
Is ligue 1 a good standard?
Never really took much of an interest in it but checked how OM finished last yr.
5th from 20 which I would be consider quite a good finish in a 20 team league.
Same size league as the EPL but not the same quality I don’t imagine.

Its rated 5th and the Spl is20 th so yes it is good quality league although quite a distance behind the English, Spanish and German, also the Italian league

Yes, one of the top 5 leagues.

5th was a disaster of a finish for Marseille. No europe and worst position for 12 years. The fans went mental, hence the sacking of Garcia.
 
We had 5 Marseille supporters sittingbeside us in MFK, I think the Halliday remark may have come from them as guy behind me said even Halliday is doing them over then went to explain how Halliday fell down the pecking order went on loan then fought back into team, they were on a forum throughout game, Could not be lu eve this was only the 3rd game the team had played.They were impressed with the kindness and friendliness also how wellcome they were made by Rangers Supporters
 
I know Friendlies mean nothing, but 2 years ago we were out of Europe and Marseille were drafted in as a "glamour" backup and even under Caixinha we drew 1-1 which felt a bit better than the shite we'd seen 2 weeks previous.

Today feels good. We've never beaten them before and a certain generation always look upon 92/93 as the standard sp 4-0, friendly or not, makes me smile.

This is the kind of thing that I love to hear from opposition fans but you'll never read them in the Scottish media.
