He won't be first choice.
Smallish (relatively speaking) wage, fills a spot in UEFA criteria and capable enough cover.
Seems a reasonable move for all.

its truely a party when airport maw has soggy drawersYasssss, the transfer thread is not trully back until we are tracking flights.
I've been lied to.No interest from Rangers in Albion Rrahmani according to a Romanian journalist on X.
Here's hoping he becomes as successful. If it’s a simple replacement of a backup goalie who fits the homegrown quota then yes definitely.
Its a simple cheap option, and he effectively becomes what Scott Carson has been at Man City
Yeah fair enough on reading again it he hasn't ruled it out.No. He says the one formal proposal made to Rapid isn't from Rangers. Doesn't say there is no interest.
No. He says the one formal proposal made to Rapid isn't from Rangers. Doesn't say there is no interest.
That;s not what he says.No interest from Rangers in Albion Rrahmani according to a Romanian journalist on X.
One post said that. Others may have repeated that statementalthough we've had other posts claiming its "too far gone" for popcorn teeth to scupper it
If that’s the case then loan him to someone like Motherwell, extend his contract, we don’t really know what’s happening with JB, he will be in demand I think and we won’t turn down a 12 million plus offer for him, I’ve said for a while that I do think Robby has the ability to be a number 1 at us and ticks every box for all the euro squad illegibility that we hear on FF all the time.We all would, be he wants to rightly go play first team football.
The rangers review guys certainly made out this morning that we were interested. Even went as far as to have a follow up video with a romanian journalist to discuss him. Not watched that yet though. That;s not what he says.
He says no official offer from Rangers. Huge difference from "no interest"
Is it though? Robby McCrorie struggled on loan at Livingston whereas Kelly has been a premiership no1 for a number of years. It's a downgrade on Robby as a number 2 keeper
Same story as Palma and look how that turned out.The rangers review guys certainly made out this morning that we were interested. Even went as far as to have a follow up video with a romanian journalist to discuss him. Not watched that yet though.
Same story as Palma and look how that turned out.
That certainly sounds like an improvement…Maybe Butland for the off and McCrorie as number 1, no objection from me if that happens
Palma's garbage.Same story as Palma and look how that turned out.
The best youth keeper we have is Mason Munn.I would be playing Jay Hogarth before McCrorie and Kelly.
said no offer not no interestNo interest from Rangers in Albion Rrahmani according to a Romanian journalist on X.
If we are looking to sell him, no, they could never afford him.McCrorie should go to Motherwell haha
'Patience required' , 'time to bed in' , 'need to let players settle.'
Nah not anymore. Clement has had over 40 games with us now. The Tim's generally have no issue with signing players and them becoming instant hits.
This is the sort of mentality we need to change as a club and support.
Hopefully a total clear out of this squad starts immediately after Saturday.
€4m for someone playing in Bulgaria with 1 year left in contract seems a bit high?@RdScouting
- Age: 22 (01’)
- Position: LCB
- Nationality: Panama
- Club: Levski Sofia (Bulgaria)
- Height: 187cm
- Weight: 78kg
- Market Value (per TM): €3M
- Levski Sofia employs a high-pressing and possession-based football style.
- Córdoba operates within the 4-2-3-1 system, often resembling the role of a LCB in a back-3 formation.
- He showcases offensive contributions when pressed by the opposition through carries and penetrative passes.
Strengths
- Speed, physical strength, and ‘Rest Defence’ in a high defensive line, making him effective at closing down outlets.
- Solid on-ball skills. Brings expansive passing range, retention, and verticality to build-up play.
- Displays defensive and aerial prowess, tends to jump on the opponent when the latter loses the ball.
Weaknesses
- Disciplinary issues, led by apparent lack of tackling technique, and understanding of when/how to tackle.
- In order to be reliable on-ball in the future, he must work on his first-touch.
For me, he’s an extremely interesting prospect, who could make sense for many clubs in the T7 leagues, especially when his contract runs out in 2025.
Yet, all of this depends, however, on his progress this season, and particularly, concerning the weaknesses mentioned.
Exactly.Palma's garbage.
Terrible keeper even the motherwell fans want rid of.Good keeper.
Absolutely delighted we avoided himPalma's garbage.
Literally, he's a dwarf goalie.McCrorie his head and shoulders above Kelly, I’d rather have Robby than Liam, his stats are shocking.
Whom?Negocio Confirmado.
Sterling will play in goals anyway if there's an injury to the first choice keeper.Liam Kelly is shite, but we're not going to be signing him for his abilities. He'd clearly be here to sit on the bench and tick a homegrown box for Europe. Settle down.
Where on earth are you cashing in your Euros?Even then 4 million euro is about 2.6 million sterling
McCrorie will be looking to play at this stage in his career. He'll have taken the hint that it won't be with us. I'd rather keep McCrorie too btw.McCrorie his head and shoulders above Kelly, I’d rather have Robby than Liam, his stats are shocking.
Whom?
Had that very same feeling.Boadu is the first name mentioned that I don’t like the look off. One of the top Dutch prospects a few years ago, didn’t kick on, and bad injury record. For me that fits into our “I can fix him” model of last season.
I guess Butland and Cantwell are examples of that working but we had a lot more misses than hits.
Sorry, saw that in a tweet about Jefte and liked the sound of it.Whom?
Negocio Confirmado.
The exchange rate is about 1.1 - not much of a difference tbf mate. The "4m" for Cordoba is Euros, not Sterling.
Supongo hablas sobre Jose?Negocio Confirmado.
ni idea compañero. no hablo la jergaSupongo hablas sobre Jose?
Sites like the RR just love the hype train of new signing. As usual lots of agent noise and we end up getting linked with the likes of Palma and Rrahmani and a hundred other players.Absolutely delighted we avoided him
Nothing lengthy on there to be fair mate, wouldn't necessarily put me off if that's accurate.List of Myron Boadu's injuries and suspensions | BeSoccer

Are we allowed to make formal offers before the window creaks open?

The transfer window is for registering players, you can make deals anytime you want but if that's outwith a window, you need to wait to complete the registration. Are we allowed to make formal offers before the window creaks open?
