Union Bears left the stadium right on full time

Are you seriously calling a single league title a massive success?
I am delighted borna is leaving. His time is up. But to downplay the importance and magnitude of 55 in isolation as not being a massive success is disingenuous. Borna played well in that season and i thank him for that. Not too much else, but certainly that. Times up and off he goes.

Jesus man if this is a snapshot of the minds of the fanbase we are truly f***ed. You do realise they have just won 12 of the last 13 dont you? Please explain this ‘sometimes’ 2nd place.
We were down the leagues. How were we expected to compete for 4 of them n it was always gonna take time to rebuild.

We've had a league win and european final in the last 4 years.

Yes there's been disappointments and really poor performances but we're getting back to being level pegging with c*nts that have had 150 million pound head start

And the cups

Genuinely don’t understand folk on here.

Whinge like fck about players who don’t care, then you’ve got a guy like Barasic who obviously cares for the club. Yes, he’s been poor for us on occasions, but he was also part of a massive success. But, no it’s all “fck him”.

Basically, you don’t have to be a cant all the time just to appear staunch as fck.
Don't agree with all your post as I don't think it makes anyone look staunch. Just another excuse to give out the verbals. People need to stop taking it personally.

Does Clement not deserve appreciation for dragging us back from the dead?

Plus the win. Plus keeping morale up for the cup final. Plus for the youngsters who performed tonight
Clement is a big boy, I'm sure he understands the frustrations of the fans after seasons of failure from the usual suspects, he doesn't need constant patting on the back to do his job. The youngsters will be buzzing either way from getting on the pitch.

It is a slightly weird one in that, we mathematically could still win the title and do a treble, as mental as that is to say. But even if we did, I don't think it'd change many peoples opinions of this squad. It's a very strange season where the slightly least shite team is going to win the league.

nah mate using the ‘cant compete financially’ outlook doesnt wash anymore im afraid. Our wage bill is 3/4 million higher than theirs, explain that then? We aint getting our moneys worth unfortunately whatever way you spin it

You can't believe the garbage you are posting surely. The time to score 5 against the 6th best team in Scotland wasl ast month when it meant something.
The players still showed up tonight and a lot of young players got a chance. There's also Borna on his last Ibrox showing who deserved a good send off

Why was this the time to send out such a negative message when we have all summer to tell them how we feel?

The rush to defend mediocrity and polish a turd on here really demonstrates that we have a part of our support accepting our place as the second team in Scotland. If you aren't angry about how this season ended then we will have a board, manager and club who will trot out the excuses season upon season as they overtake our most successful tag, head again towards 10 in a row and make every season a disappointment. The board have let our team go backwards and the same players have let us down time after time no matter what manager we bring in. So why shouldn't the UB use the last game to make feelings known that second best is not acceptable.

Not using that excuse. I'm saying they had that as a head start.

Our wage bill is horrendous. We are paying far too many players the wages that only key players should be getting.

Wby was it not?. . . it was the perfect time. Why should they be applauded for yet more abject failure. They bottled it and threw it away.

The leaving players will get a goodbye at Hampden if they stop letting us down in our biggest games. That simple.

Also find it quite funny those having a go at the UB for this when a good few thousand left at 0-2 and the majority of the stadium at 4-2. Leaving right on full time was more of an effort than 75% of people who attended tonight.

Maybe Clement, despite saying he's understand this crazy club and crazy city, would expect some support from the ultras of the "best fans in the world" after what he's done this season.

It was a few games to many unfortunately. It was miles away before he came in

Celtic finished 2nd once and there was barriers/sharks getting thrown about parkhead, not saying that’s the levels we should be lowering ourselves too but the UB leaving at full time is a very reasonable way of showing disappointment
That wasn't even halfway through the season.
Their fans didn't want Lennon back, they'd signed a load of shit and we were miles better.
A lot of pent up frustration from the COVID lockdowns as well

Agreed mate.
The financial argument doesn’t wash anymore.
Despite all the Tim’s so called wealth we did compete with them for a part of the season and after the Hearts game we looked nailed on to win it.
Dropping points to that mob as bad as it was isn’t what killed us though it was dropping 8 points to Motherwell, Ross County and Dundee that done for us, 3 teams who spend a fraction of what we do.
Win those games and we are sitting 5 clear tonight with them knowing even a draw tomorrow wouldnt be enough. If our players had any bottle about them the Tims would be feeling massive pressure right now.
We have gifted them the league.

A lot of posters seem to have a go at the UB for anything. I see nothing wrong with what they've done. There were thousands of empty seats and folk leaving when Dundee went 2 up ffs.

Neither going to applaud nor criticise the UBs, they're free to leave at the end of the game if they want and it's a dignified enough way to register disapproval. Plenty of other fans will have stayed behind to applaud the players, I think it's a mistake for the support to give in to the notion that what the UBs do or don't do represents the fanbase as a whole. So no big disaster.

But the players have to understand where the UBs are coming from. We have players who look like they checked out a month ago, and the squad as a whole, the senior players, the "better" players, have been unable or unwilling to nip that trend in the bud, causing us to meekly concede a league that was ours for the taking. Fans bothering to turn up tonight, sticking with the team through another two goal deficit conceded in quick fashion, followed by a great turnaround, then leaving at 90 minutes, can hardly be faulted.
