Was nipping down to the shops after the Man City game finished and a Liverpool fan had called in to Andy Goldstein on talksport. Usual chat about the city game then comes out with, even if Liverpool don’t win the league this season they should still get a trophy for it.

Thought twice about posting this in fear of being accused of a being a glue sniffer but just thought I had to get this out there

Its not over yet. One more game and Liverpool could win the league (Its very doubtful).
 
Form for both teams over the last 10 matches has been incredible.
City have won 10/10.
Liverpool have won 9/10 with the other being a 0-0 draw away to Everton!

Is this the best title race ever?

If Liverpool finish 2nd on 97 points itll be the 3rd highest ever EPL points total, only beaten by Man City last season and Man City this season.
 
Runners up in the championship now get a trophy , so all 3 promoted teams get something. :oops:
