What was the script with grezda yesterday?

Has there been anything said as to why grezda wasn’t in the squad yesterday. Was the rumour of him being in Ross hall a coupele of days ago for an mri confirmed?

Pretty sure that Gerrard simply was not going to risk any of the returning players in a game at home against the league leaders to be honest. Knowing they would not play, it was better to put players that would on the bench.

We will apparently have a closed door game during the break, which will be used to get minutes into him, Dorrans, Wallace, Rossiter and a few of the more fringe players

As above.

Yesterday was a huge must win game against a physical team. It wasnt the type of game to bed in someone returning from a long term injury.

This break can be like a mini preseason for him and Dorrans , MacAuley& Rossiter. Also gives a chance for Jack to get back up to speed and maybe even Sadiq.......or is that pushing it.

Either that or he's the next Seb Rozental and we might as well put him down.

You would expect another fortnight of training and a decent bounce game should have him up to speed. We need to see more of him imo.

There’s no need to rush him into the team due to the strength in depth we have. He’ll get his chance when he’s fully fit, but until then the current starting eleven are more than capable of getting the required results (notwithstanding Livingston).

It was me that was in for the mri mate.Only 1 door in/out of the suite and he was sitting in waiting room as I walked in

It’s obvious that no player will be risked or rushed back from injury under this management team.

Fair enough

Hope he ends up being brilliant but we could do with a good player now for the squad

He will be part of the squad and will get game time as the season progresses.

He was out injured for a period and missed pre-season so isn’t at the same level as most of the team who to be fair aren’t doing too badly.

We don’t need to put pressure on him to perform at this stage, let’s ease him in to the team while others are performing at the level they are.

Have no knowledge of what specifically the situation is with Grezda but the professional way, in which our club is being managed, in contrast, to recent years, leaves me satisfied that the handling of Grezda, will be what is best for both the player and the club.
