Which goal was better? An Albertz special.

The poll today is a little bit different, as both goal were scored by the same player.
Since 1974, we have had to visit away grounds in the league twice in the same season, and these goals were scored in our trips to Easter Road in season 1997-98. And both were scored by The Hammer, the left foot of Jorg Albertz.

Goal 1 is from October 1997. After going 3-1 down, Gazza scored a great free kick, then just a few minutes later this Albertz missile equalised. We ended up winning the game 4-3.

Goal 2 is from February 1998. It was 1-1 with time almost up, when from almost the same blade of grass Albertz unleashed this thunderbolt to score a late winner.

2 trademark long range rockets. Both at the home end. Both helped us to unlikely victories.

What I'd give to have a midfielder that could do that 10 times a season in the current team.

Difficult, but I would say goal 2 as it was on the bounce and harder to connect when the ball is coming down.
