I can certainty think of something from last season that would rival that.

Keep conceding goals and they can't score any.

He'll get time given the money they've spent but if they don't take maximum points from their next 3 games, he should start to worry.

I like RK but for the money he's spent they haven't been competitive enough in the games so far regardless of who they are against.

Needs 7 points from next 9 or he could be out the door.

It was also going to a hard task to replace Lukaku which he could be given some leeway for but not signing a dominant central defender after last year is bordering on criminal.

I think he will be given another 2 or 3 games to turn it around given his pedigree in the EPL and the game in general. Having said that most of their play this year has looked laboured to say the least.

Looking at his transfer dealings over the summer it doesn't look too clever and when you add in the Barkley situation it does start to smell a bit ....

Lost Lukaku and replaced him with Sandro Ramirez & Rooney. That is poor recruitment as Lukaku was scoring 20 plus every season.

Losing lukaku was a massive blow to them
