Early rise and taxi to airport for flight to faro.
Airport was good and met some ex players such as DJ, Henderson, Brown, McDonald, Stein and Johnston and the world's strongest man.
Flight ok apart from long queues to pee!!
Arrived in Portugal and no issues at airport and coach took us to huge hotel at huelva. Still not sure where breakfast is to served!!
We had a swim in the pool and a beer and headed to the beach where there was a sash bash and bumped in to some friendly faces I've not seen in a while.
Good tunes were being played and the beach was nice. Dip in the sea followed.
Back to the hotel for a beer and cocktails and sangria and sat round the pool with other bears including the man mountain Tom Stoltman. It was suggested a new strong man event drunk bear launching in to the pool was created but alas no!
Time for dinner and a buffet in another hotel was decent value with lots of typical Spanish and other offerings washed down with beer.
Back to the hotel and bumped in to old friends and after one beer we called it a night.
The sensible heads definitely on.
A humongous day for us all today and awakened relatively fresh. Have a belter troops and Rangers - make us proud and bring that trophy home and await the off the scale jubilation
