My take on the 500 number is that she wanted that and he has to defend it. This was a political decision, there was no way she could shut down hospitality and still have 50k in football grounds. As always, its the organ grinder that is at fault here.

Interesting. Now just suppose the restriction lasts until mid-Feb or beyond. European games off, backlog of domestic games (no possibility of rearranging any more games according to Doncaster). Where does that leave us? Call me Mr Cynical, but I’d put money on the league not being awarded to us like it was to the Jungles.

But follow this to its logical conclusion. Surely entry to next season’s Champions League would go to the team at the top of the league when it was suspended. Cue meltdown of epic proportion!
 
Obviously we all knew that was coming. Do you think anyone in the spfl actually took the bother to ask anyone in scotgov when they expected restrictions to be lifted, or did they just assume it would work out round about the winter break conveniently
 
Surely we are about to hit breaking point where the people tell this bunch of ego maniacs to do one. Can only be a good thing that England are not as restrictive in showing this shower of pricks up for what they are.

The minute a supposed public health advisor admits that a decision isnt based on science then he's finished. His only job is to advice on the science. To use his expert knowledge to help the average man in the street understand the science behind thing. You might as well have Charlie from Casualty as public health advisor because he once played a doctor on a TV show. It's either science or it's fantasy and we shouldn't accept a public health official who engages in fantasy.

He shouldn't accept it either. If he's the public face of Covid outside of the political sphere and politicians are simply ignoring him then for the sake of any shred of integrity he has then he should walk and should go public.

Reality? He's happy to take the money whilst giving Sturgeon whatever answers she wants in order for her to justify her decisions, even if it leaves him looking like an absolute clown and the administration goes on making shit up on absolutely no scientific basis.

Shutting down outdoor events and forcing people indoors (where transmission is high).

COVID and consequently the power that results from it, is vital to her and she will cling onto it for her dear life.

At every turn the politicians have taken a mile when given an inch. Crowds wont be back in Scotland til easter at least IMO.

Either Govts need to trust in the vaccines that are clearly doing their jobs or just admit that theyre a waste of time. They cant have it both ways!

The only good thing will be that this should turn people against Nippy if England still have full houses and we are playing BCD.

Football fans across the country should unite and blil the Scottish Executive for half their ST money.if we dont get back to games when the restart happens.

Euro games have already been played this season BCD and with reduced crowds. They wont be cancelled.


Remember, the games were not cancelled, that was all the *clubs*

Im not really disagreeing with you btw. Im just looking at the reality of it, this is Sturgeons shit show, any ire should be directed at her, not a lackey.
 
The only upside to this is that Nippy is so hellbent on playing politics on Westminster with this and Boris can’t do anything too drastic (despite perhaps wanting to), the result will be England offering a much more relaxed lifestyle than Scotland and that will turn people against Nippy if they weren’t already there.

Wont make any difference to her cult followers obviously but plenty of others will rightly be pissed off.
 
Live down south and been in a few boozers today, no restrictions which makes it all a bit weirider why wee nippy has a diffrent agenda
