Was that not Gerry CollinsThe same Gerry McCabe who every week on Rocksport Radio would try to compare the accounting process's of a taxi driver with those of Rangers FC. "The tax man is awe ower me n ma taxi so howzy no dane it wae Rainjurs"
How the feck this clown ever got a weekly gig on the radio was beyond me.
What's your point caller? Now I’m not sure here but Gerry wouldn’t be a Celtic supporter would he?
He still is.His brother used to be the bar manager in Carrigans in Hamilton. Used to see him drunkenly shouting at the races and when Celtic were getting beaten in the Mowbray season!
Is that Colin West in the bottom pic in front of Super?Old Accies player Gerry McCabe.
I had no idea, but now that you’ve supplied a name, I’ve Googled, and yes, it is.Is that Colin West in the bottom pic in front of Super?
Didn't hugh burns give him a slap when he was on loan from us at acciesOld Accies player Gerry McCabe.
Never heard that story.Didn't hugh burns give him a slap when he was on loan from us at accies
Tell you what. Gerry McCabe was a cracking player.Great ability and very underrated.
He was indeed. Could never understand why he never got a bigger move.A very talented player. Possibly one of the best uncapped players in Scottish football.
I would have preferred the article to concentrate on Gerry McCabe though!
Because he's a Rangers hating tim....no other reasonThe same Gerry McCabe who every week on Rocksport Radio would try to compare the accounting process's of a taxi driver with those of Rangers FC. "The tax man is awe ower me n ma taxi so howzy no dane it wae Rainjurs"

Ooops - two cheeks of the same arse thoughWas that not Gerry Collins
That’s him.Is that Colin West in the bottom pic in front of Super?
I used to do the same in the 70s. Where I first saw Davie Cooper, before he was linked to Rangers. When I were a lad . . .
And Rangers were away from home or it was midweek the Banks were a great day out - cheap - just a couple of stations along the trainline. Group of us from school went together - couple of younger lads got involved with them and one went on to become club secretary for a while.
I don't think we really appreciated how good a team they had and what a wee treat it was to get that level of football for relative coppers.
