As above looks like another £1m of shares issued today.
Cash FlowWhy do we need to issue at this stage of the season?
Would the money from Patterson not help with that?Cash Flow
Its a good pointWould the money from Patterson not help with that?
Will all be about FFP and when you can issue shares ( well above my pay grade )Would the money from Patterson not help with that?
Why do we need to do this with the Patterson cash sitting in our bank account? Seems strange
You’re assuming it’s for cash being given to the club now.Why do we need to do this with the Patterson cash sitting in our bank account? Seems strange
Maybe an investor came in. Said "I want to stick £1 million into Rangers. The Board said "okay, we'll issue some new shares for you".
Severe lack of conspiracy doomsday Sevcoism in that theory though!
Was Barry, the son and not Alan, the DadMcLeish from QTS stuck in a £1m a year back: maybe he’s topping it up?
Only £30m, typical miserable Scot, you can take the boy out of Scotland lolI look at it from my point of view. Any time the Mega Millions or Powerball goes over $250 million, I buy a ticket. I don't really need the money as I live quite comfortably now so I think about what I would do with it should I win. Probably the first thing would be a phone call to Dougie Parks asking if he wanted an investment of $20-$30 million.

Seriously concerned my £500 investment is being diluted here.
Couldn't be that simple mate. Would ruin the thread.Maybe an investor came in. Said "I want to stick £1 million into Rangers. The Board said "okay, we'll issue some new shares for you".
And Steven Gerrard ?Would the money from Patterson not help with that?
mate, if you 'dont really need $250m' then get ursel off FF and call Dougie immediately and present him with the coin for 6 new players lol.I look at it from my point of view. Breaking even/being in profit this year seems to be the boards main aim given all the soundbites recentlyWould the money from Patterson not help with that?
I’m with you but I’d need a place to stay.I look at it from my point of view. Any time the Mega Millions or Powerball goes over $250 million, I buy a ticket. I think they are determined to do this. Will be a big moment in achieving it. I’ve wondered if that aim has impacted decision making at times.Breaking even/being in profit this year seems to be the boards main aim given all the soundbites recently
This is what I would expect.Would it not be more likely someone converting a loan to shares?
How much of that did we receive up front? Take away £2.5M loan fee for Ramsay along with his high wages and Diallo’s too.Would the money from Patterson not help with that?
Fishing, surely. How much of that did we receive up front? Take away £2.5M loan fee for Ramsay along with his high wages and Diallo’s too.
This has typically been the case with such share issues previously.Would it not be more likely someone converting a loan to shares?
Would suggest that’s the most likely.Would it not be more likely someone converting a loan to shares?

I’m pretty sure we got £9 mill up front. The rest is instalmentsI imagine thatll be paid in instalments over a few years.

So it was Alan's cash then hahaWas Barry, the son and not Alan, the Dad
Two of them come into The Louden, nice people
Statistically there’s more chance of you winning the lottery AND the Euromillions in the one week than there is of Rangers F.C. being awarded a non-disputed penalty.I need the rest to invest in the expansion of your sports bar business worldwide
Just have to win the lottery now
They are exactly the same, how can 1 be hardly worth the bother?Don’t take this the wrong way but issuing shares for £1m in cash is hardly worth the bother. Much more likely to be repayment or part payment of a short term loan.
