as per title, are we guarenteed to be in the Europa league groups next yr if we get knocked out at the stage of qualifiers we are in for UCL?

So say for example we get knocked out at QF round 3, do we go straight into Europa groups or have we still to play the play offs.

This is not taking into consideration we can still win Europa mind you…

You're forgetting about the conference league. Hearts will be guaranteed that.

Based upon Scotland's Access List, they would be ranked 9th. Which would mean:

League winners: CL Groups
Runners up: CL Q3
Cup Winners: EL P/O Round
3rd: Conference League Q3
4th: Conference League Q2

So, if we finish 2nd in the league, we would go into the UCL non-champions path at Q3. Win that and we go into the UCL P/O Round, lose and we go into the Europa groups (according to this diagram).

We're guaranteed Europa groups but should definitely be aiming as high as possible.

Folk need to bear in mind when looking at the diagram that it’s likely we will be in CL-Q3nc (on the right) rather than CL-Q3.

Whether we join at CL-Q3nc or at an earlier stage (or got straight to the groups as EL winners) remains to be seen. Probably the former if Russian teams remain banned, as seems likely.
