I thought our model was to buy young players ?

Our model is to get into the Champions League!
Should be, hopefully our board don’t fail our manager once again, would be happy with this deal at that price it’s basically a risk free signing and replacement for Itten.
He is a striker in his prime with CL experience. He should be an excellent addition to our squad, and a bargain too at the price.I thought our model was to buy young players ?
Tbf D, most threads are full of it after about 15 posts. Some people don’t go in the transfer thread because it’s full of shite
Correct mate. Some people don’t go in the transfer thread because it’s full of shite
For me the key is that he knows his way around the qualifiers (obviously)
What we need now is a quality right winger to get the ball to him in the box.
I know Tav can do that, but now's the time for someone else to share that load.
For £1.80 even I could afford a few of himHopefully turns out to be a success. £1.8 is decent business for what you’d imagine would be our second choice
Surprised you need a YouTube video for that just his performance at Ibrox for Malmo should of been enough?Watching a youtube video (i know) looked very good his movement and work rate and goalscoring looked just what we need in a striker.
Yes, he did well that night as well but always good to watch more, scored some goals from impossible angles and takes a good penalty.Surprised you need a YouTube video for that just his performance at Ibrox for Malmo should of been enough?
Most likes I’ve seen in agesSome people don’t go in the transfer thread because it’s full of shite

It is.
All in the last couple of weeks...
Zak Lovelace from Millwall - "The forward will trade The Den for Ibrox this summer after months of speculation. Having made his Championship debut at the age of 15, coming off the bench against Coventry in December, Lovelace is a player who boasts real potential and his acquisition represents a smart piece of business. ROCKY MCMILLAN has seen enough young players - from those with two left feet to England internationalists - to know when a kid has the ability and the mentality to make it to the top of the game. When the chairman of Glebe FC watched Zak Lovelace, it wasn't just his physical stature that made him stand out. The striker has something special and McMillan is not surprised to see him tipped for the highest level."
Cammy Cooper from Partick Thistle - "RANGERS have secured the services of another top talent from a Championship club. Partick Thistle have confirmed that Cammy Cooper has joined the Ibrox club for an undisclosed fee."
Kieron Willox from Inverness CT - "RANGERS have signed up highly-rated Inverness star Kieron Willox. The Championship club confirmed the move this afternoon."
Lancelot Pollard from Aberdeen - "Aberdeen youngster Lancelot Pollard signs for Rangers after interest from across the border. The Europa League finalists beat Manchester United and Liverpool to the signature of Dons academy star Lancelot Pollard who was a mainstay in the U18s last season."
There's not a thing on this planet which would calm down the mentalists on this board, never mind the transfer thread!Well this should calm all the mentalists on the transfer thread until at least tomorrow morning.
What we need is 15-20 goal winger on the rhs who gets in the boxWhat we need now is a quality right winger to get the ball to him in the box.

I thought it was quite obvious the poster you quoted meant younger players who are signed to go straight into the first team squadIt is.

Seems to know where the goal is, which is a good start. Those two against us were excellent finishes. Difficult to watch, but excellent goals.
Could do with that on the left too! What we need is 15-20 goal winger on the rhs who gets in the box
The boy at bodo would be perfect
Wasn't obvious to me.I thought it was quite obvious the poster you quoted meant younger players who are signed to go straight into the first team squad
Sell on for a 29 year old? Come on
Sell on for a 29 year old? Come on
Should swap the sell on clause for an add-on if we qualify for the CL group stage and another for a set quantity of goals.Sell on for a 29 year old? Come on
We’re talking about a 28 year old, not some geriatric. This myth that we’re only signing kids now is a curious one.I thought it was quite obvious the poster you quoted meant younger players who are signed to go straight into the first team squad
Like that's never happened before. The article contradicts the headline.
You’ve pulled.I'll get my Croat.
I know, and I think Colak will be pretty decent for us but there is concern in the fact we are adding another player with little resale value to a squad that is already the oldest in the league. You can’t win a league with a team of 21 year olds but I don’t think anyone has ever advocated for that. A blend is needed but we don’t really have many 24< players. Most of our sellable assets are very soon going to hit an age where you won’t get offers that are really worthwhile entertaining. We have to start signing the next Aribo, the next Morelos, the next Kent. We’re talking about a 28 year old, not some geriatric. This myth that we’re only signing kids now is a curious one.
