He owned and ran the, now long demolished, Red Row pub in the Renton. The place needed a firm hand behind the bar, and Drew was just the man.Think he had a pub in Renton at one time.

Was that where the garage is now?He owned and ran the, now long demolished, Red Row pub in the Renton. The place needed a firm hand behind the bar, and Drew was just the man.
RIP Drew.
Just a wee bit along the street from the Renton Garage. There’s a couple of new build houses on the site now.Was that where the garage is now?
Airdrie had a good side then.I know he was at Hearts a lot longer but, weirdly, I remember him more as an Airdrie player. His scoring record for them was excellent.
RIP.
Good player for both Airdrie & Hearts.
He formed a good partnership with Drew Jarvie at Airdrie.
Some great nights in the Texaco CupAirdrie had a good side then.
I only remember Drew playing for Airdrie.I always associate Drew Busby more with Airdrieonians than Hearts, possibly because that's where he started to become a very well known player. From memory, he and Drew Jarvie were a handful for any defence in Scottish football.
