Never expected that
Why do you say that ?Surely not! Very surprised
IIRC the accuser had audio recordings of Greenwood. Seems strange he’s been found to have done no wrong doing. Why do you say that ?
Are you in possession of the full facts of the case?

If its proven to be a made up accusation (not saying thats the case in this example), then why not punish people that make things up to try and get sympathy/limelight/revenge/payoffs, because its ruins lives, and ruins careers.I wonder if the accuser should go to jail mob will join us on this thread
It's called perverting the course of justice. If its proven to be a made up accusation (not saying thats the case in this example), then why not punish people that make things up to try and get sympathy/limelight/revenge/payoffs, because its ruins lives, and ruins careers.
Take for example a case when the accuser was recorded admitting they made it up, or even admitted to it openly in court, confessing....then yes they should be punished for the crimes of wasting police and court time at the very least. surely its already illegal to make false accusations?
How do you explain it then?%^*& being on a jury with you.
there was no verdict or not guilty charges were dropped
"We have a duty to keep cases under continuous review.
“In this case a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction."
She was very clear verbally that she didnt want to have sex in that recording, so the verdict IS surprising imho.
No I'm not,hence I wouldn't make a decision on a few facts without hearing a defence submission.Are you?
You’re as (un)qualified to comment as anyone else.
I just read that the charges have been dropped rather than Greenwood acquitted.IIRC the accuser had audio recordings of Greenwood. Seems strange he’s been found to have done no wrong doing.
That's pretty damming.

Was she paid off?

There goes you original theory. That's the point I was trying to make ....without being a condescending arse ...Think the girl friend eventually refused to cooperate, possibly it was harder without her as a witness
He will get a big fat pay off probablyThey’d have to take him back in.
Guess the same happened with Mendy?
Unless they come to a settlement.
Thats what i was thinking - hes, in the eyes of the law, innocent. They’d have to take him back in.

which makes you wonder, who are the key witnesses and what was the new evidence? Can we amend this thread?
He hasn't been found 'not guilty', the charges were dropped.
A spokesperson said: “We have a duty to keep cases under continuous review.
“In this case a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction."
Given these things happened alone, in bed at night, then it can only be his ex girlfriend that has, for some reason, refused to give evidence.which makes you wonder, who are the key witnesses and what was the new evidence?
Oh, FFS. What a silly lassie.I’m sure I read they were back together.
