I was really against Sam Lammers due to his poor scoring stats and lack of progression.

But I stopped stat watching and I read up on him and watched videos of him and saw so many similarities to Skov Olsen.

Tall, pacey and very good with the ball at his feet. Both have struggled in Seria A and Skov Olsen moved to a decent league and has really done well

I really think Lammers could be a decent signing as a winger, but not as a number 9.

Michael Beale doesn't use wingers as wingers. He usually plays two inside 10s. This has been explained on here numerous times.

On a similar theme, people also need to move away from the notion that we shouldn’t be aiming for 2 good players for each position. “Sell Borna, youth as back up”, “Give it McCrorie”, “Colak won’t want to be on the bench”, “Sterling isn’t coming to play second fiddle to Tav” etc etc.

2-3 years is a long time in football, and yes no one knows how RY will turn out in the long run, but he had a serious injury for a long time, let’s see how he goes when he properly fit with a good pre season under his belt

I’m not sure it is only the NI aspect that is getting him linked.
