It’s going to take more than just the appointment of a new manager to stop the rot.

If a manager of Clement's calibre is available and wants the gig, you're not a well run football club if you don't pull the trigger on that imo. A Muscat appointment would just compound my current fears about the board not understanding where we need to be.

Honestly the way folk talk about Muscat like he's Mike bastard Tyson in his prime is embarrassing. We should probably stop looking at football managers and appoint MMA fighters or boxers.

Credit where it’s due, I think the board have delivered (on paper) about as good an appointment as we could have hoped for. No guarantees of course, but I for one am very satisfied with this.
