Just had no creativity at all throughout the tournament. Relied on FK's, penalties and corners.

Alli was a passenger. Sterling had good workrate but lacked any sort of killer instinct.

Croatia were great from the 2nd half on though and deserve it. Hopefully they win the world cup



England finally got punished for doing the exact same thing they did against Colombia just sitting back needlessly in the 2nd half and extra time. Reaching the semis will mask a lot of deficiencies and people will be proud (And rightfully so in some aspects) but i still dont rate Southgate as a manager and think he got a bit lucky by having 2 of the worst teams in the competition in his group, then facing Colombia without James Rodriguez before playing the worst team in the Quarters. As soon as he came up against teams with actual quality able to play England lost both matches.
