Similar story yet again , the slow build up and sideways passing and lack of goal threat.
One break and a goal then slack play has the advantage cancelled out.
Flanagan is having his arse handed to him and worral no helping him either.
Candieas and Kent no quality .

Worried about the lack of bite in the side I thought we’d have come out snapping into tackles and keeping the tempo up but we have been passive again and Gerrard needs change the system imo.

Slack passing will haunt us tonight if we don’t cut it out it’s what they are waiting on and Burke almost got in!

Our form has fallen off a cliff I just hope we come out firing second half or we will be in a real pickle if we don’t win this game.

100 pointless square balls across the middle of the park is going to hurt no opposition's defence
Look dodgy at the back and liable to lose another goal if we keep playing like this
Another team bursting a gut against us with a coward of a referee means a very turgid and frustrating 2nd half to follow
Steve G challenged the players to show they belonged at a big club before this game

Really surprising if not astonishing team selection tonight.

Assuming ejaria is injured as he’s the only midfielder we have who can go past players and control the tempo. It’s really showed tonight. I’d bring on Middleton for arfield and lafferty for Candeias or Kent later in the game.
 
We need width to win this. There is nothing productive happening on the wings. Kilmarnock are forcing us into the middle where they are defending in numbers.
 
We need to up our game in this second half. Too slow and predictable in build up. Need to increase the tempo and chances will come our way.
 
Teams in Scotland have sussed out how to play us again. Teams in Europe don't sit back. Smith was successful because he bought a physical team and was not always attack, attack. S.G needs to find the players and tactics that can compete and win this league. At this moment in time we are not even the second best team in Scotland and the league shows it.
 
Any team who set up hard to beat and we seem to shit the bed against them.
