They’ve chucked it but honestly get VAR the fuck out of football.
Scotland just did a 'scotland
insane
they have to keep a foot on the line, its disgraceful, basically its giving the taker a free hit.Are there new rules with keepers coming off the line at penalties?! That was a joke.
Think the law was both feet must be on the line no movement allowed but it wasn't enforced. Now changed but with VAR they are checking it. Sadly its up to goalkeepers to adapt.
The goalies heel must have been close to the goal line.Yeah it's a new ruling one foot must be on the line
Absolutely this, blame who you want.3-0 up with 20 mins to go. If u don’t win the. U deserve to be on the first flight home.
Only Scotland
Tbf Kerr fucked that up. At 3-1 should have put subs on for fresh legs

She took one step as she dived. To remain on the line with no momentum is unnatural for a keeper.Ref told her for a full minute don't jump off the line - jumps off the line
3-3
There is going to be some amount of retakes now, the Keeper will hardly save a penalty if this rule is totally enforced.Think the law was both feet must be on the line no movement allowed but it wasn't enforced. Now changed but with VAR they are checking it. Sadly its up to goalkeepers to adapt.
Rubbish. There was a fag paper between the lassies foot and the line when that ball was struck. VAR has us looking at things at a microscopic level. That ain't right.VAR wasn’t the issue here though - it was the change in rules regarding feet placement when facing a penalty kick. Referee could have ordered the retake without any VAR.
Mental rule.
You need to take a step forward to push off when diving.

That’s not practical. You’d have to calculate it perfectly.Yes...and it can be done behind or on the line.
