“Where’s in God’s name d’ye get yer waater?”
I nearly pished myself laughing at this when I was a boy watching it live
I remember the sketch with a Freemason who had their wife’s blood all over the place and was told by the polis to “keep the noise down”as Rangers manger, Gregor Fisher as a scout and Gerrard Kelly a tim about to sign.

My old man who was a CoS minister was in stitches at this one when first shown. Mind you he did also like a drop of whisky.“Where’s in God’s name d’ye get yer waater?”

Plenty sketches I've absolutely loved but this is my favourite, closely followed by supercop and taggart, outstanding in it's day.“Where’s in God’s name d’ye get yer waater?”

Clowns and comedians are quite different
The pilots just went oot!
Used to watch the Best of Scotch and Wry VHS up my Gran’s a lot
I remember being in a cinema watching Gorky Park and Rikki played a KGB boss. As soon as his face appeared on screen the whole place erupted in laughter even though he was at a murder scene!A man who had the ability to make you laugh without even speaking, a slight adjustment to his facial expression or body posture was all it took.
I have amazing memories of our whole family in histerics at S&W, good clean family fun. Rarely found today.
jIt’s a myth that no catholic’s singed for Rangers,it’s a bbc and 19th Century Terrorist myth.
Were they slightly burnt?Your on fire ped

The Gallowgate GourmetFirst we add the green peppers, then the red peppers then the sunday peppers
Taggart says 'We're huntin for the SouthSide Slasher' and he wipes his face and says 'Is that the rain oan' !Pointing at his helmet “ It says Polis up there son, not kiss me quick”
Agreed mate. When I've had a few beers I always stick on the football scene from the film Kes.Glorious comedy in the golden era of British/Scottish comedy.
There is very little on TV that is funny any more. Chewing the Fat with Kiernan and Hemphill was the last truly funny Scottish comedy that will still be funny 30 years from now.
A polis officer a wee runt like you.Easy there Sterling!
Tam Cowan wrote that sketch would you believeAlways first class stuff from Rikki Fulton
There was a sketch when he goes into the polis station absolutely distraught to report his wee dug missing. He goes into great detail describing the dug and as he walks away he turns back and says to the desk sergeant "oh one more thing, while you are looking for the dug, keep your eye open for the wife as she was walking him at the time..."
The one with Fulton and Gregor Fisher, when they're hungover on New Year's morning. Comedy gold!
My big brother took me to see lex at the pavilion, we where in the balcony and all i remember was the smoke rising up from downstairs With people smoking.Lex McLean and Chic Murray 2 comedy legends, especially Lex a great Rangers man.

Too busy getting cheap, topical laughs at Trump, Johnson and Sevco.Comedy genius...we’re seriously lacking in scotland for comedians these days.
The first two don’t need any comic treatment.Too busy getting cheap, topical laughs at Trump, Johnson and Sevco.
