It's easier for them to blame everyone else than try and get fans through the door, investors interested and actually looking to improve as a club. Why spend all that money on ambition when you can just say '%^*& the old firm'?

The Danish especially, no harm to them as qualifying is no walk in the park but we absolutely chased them not so long ago
 
Probably a few us us had Darmain, Kolarov, Eriksen, Lukaka and Sanchez in our fantasy team at the same time.

Antonio Conte might have played FPL as well and has taken it too far.
 
1-0 Scousers. Great play by Mane, hits a shot that’s going out for a shy and it hits Tagliafico who’s back tracking, flys into the net.
 
City albeit still a very good side don’t look a patch on the side that had Sterling one side, Sane the other and David Silva pulling the strings

Stepped right into the position vacated by Thiago and is every bit as good, then even better defensively. Unbelievable player.
 
Great by Lukaku, gets the ball on the right 16 yards out then does his trademark double step-over shifts onto his right, sadly pulls it just wide.

Atalanta in again, Freuler takes it round the keeper and shoots towards goal but keeper gets a hand to put it wide.

Germany always have a chance of winning tournaments but it's looking good for them with Werner, Kimmich, Havertz, Goretzka and Gnabry and probably a dozen more next time around.

Players are certainly there, all the criticism is being directed at Low who has been under real pressure for poor performances and boring football for the last 2 years.
 
I didn't realise Atalanta and Midtjylland were in Liverpool's group.

This has gone from being a "nice victory to have" to being a crucial game Liverpool need to take three points from to get through.
 
1-0 Inter, world class pass by Vidal, Martinez clearly tries to score but it falls to back post and good work by D’ambrosio cuts it back to Lukaku to score.
 
Would like to see someone like Atalanta have a proper run at it this season. The traditionally big teams in the competitions haven’t started their seasons particularly well.
