What position does Lunstram play?
He’s really not on a lot of money, wages at lower end EPL are fairly mediocre aside from a few outliers.Decent player but I would think he could command a fair wage
Gerrard is his hero apparently, so the chances of him going to work for that ginger mess would be very limited IMO.You can bet your bottom dollar the mentally challengeds will be sniffing around. Would love to bag him. It might mean Zungu on loan was exactly the deal we needed.
'No thanks toffee teeth, by the way, Duffy's pish'.Seemingly Gerrard is his idol.
Would love to be privy to the call when Lennon says he is keen and Lundstram tells him where to go.
Maybe the odd expletive too'No thanks toffee teeth, by the way, Duffy's pish'.
Something like that.
The ginger mess will probably not be in a job in January.Gerrard is his hero apparently, so the chances of him going to work for that ginger mess would be very limited IMO.
Most were in the summer lolWould probably be a Scott Arfield replacement - not that I’d be chasing Arfield out the door based on his current form.
He's not a Davis or Zungu replacement, he's not that type of player.
Got to laugh at reports of us being interested in this young premier league star ffs
he will be on over 40k a week. No chance he is coming north of the border
Zungu already is that mate.Potential Davis replacement?
Fair enough I stand corrected but I am pretty sure he can expect a higher wage if he was to stay in England.Absolutely no chance he’s on that.
See my post #10, I’d be surprised if he was on £15k P/W.he will be on over 40k a week. No chance he is coming north of the border
I agree, we should be giving Aribo and Kamara as many minutes as possible at this stage.I don’t think he would get a game in our midfield as things stand.
Lundstram, Ljubicic, Osayi-Samuel and Bacuna were all linked over the summer and all 4 have contracts expiring in summer 21.
Interesting to see if we do any pre-contract business in January.
We don't really have a player that's quite like him. The closest comparison is Arfield, but it's not a mirror image. What type of player is he then? Who would he be in direct competition with for a place in our team if he was here now?
Star?Got to laugh at reports of us being interested in this young premier league star ffs
Bacuna that played for Villa?
I think it's more the fact there players and system have been found out and they haven't strengthened the bulk of there squad are still top end championship players at bestLike his teammates, he's been poor this season. Good last season (pre-break) though.
I'm an Oxford United season ticket holder (for my sins) and watched Lundstram for two seasons 2015-17. He's a good player with a great engine. He will probably have developed further since leaving Oxford, but he's never in a million years going to be able to lace Steve Davis's boots. Good addition to our squad, but I think that he would only be a squad player.Potential Davis replacement?
We’re back in amongst the big boysGot to laugh at reports of us being interested in this young premier league star ffs
Fleck is on a new deal now, rumoured to be 20k/week.For all those saying big wages he's apparently only on 4k a week (Fleck's also on under 10k). Sheffield United don't offer big wages, most of their squad are on less than you get here.
Every current Premier League club's most underpaid player right now
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ederson, Rob Holding and more!www.google.com
He’s on 5k a week. , that’s why he’s refused new deal. Sheffield held him and others to their contracts they signed when in the 3rd tier. He was a target before Sheffield took up option to years extension, meaning we would have needed to pay a fee.he will be on over 40k a week. No chance he is coming north of the border
If we sign him on a freebie wages wouldnt be a problem.Would be a good addition but with wages far out with or current reach
Very true. The ginger mess will probably not be in a job in January.
