Jordan Jones to Sunderland?

I would be surprised, but I also wouldn’t as ridiculous as that sounds.

I’m sure he’s said before he tends to avoid that part of the country because it was a bad influence on him when he was younger.

Then again, suppose he will be choking to play football.

He’s better than League 1 though, suppose they have ambitions to get promoted.

If it puts him in shop window and he is not in the plans why not. No harm to Sunderland but for most who don't perform here you play at lower levels and have to try build your reputation again.

Good, need to start getting rid of the squad players like this. Hopefully if he performs well we could sell him in the summer.

Hopefully we get a bit of cash for him when the loan deal ends. Writing was on the the wall after that stupid red card against THEM last season and the covid breach was the final nail. Good luck and good riddance

I spoke to him on the opening day of the 2018-19 season in the Riverboat Casino and he said that Sunderland were interested in him back then.

He stays three doors along from my mate, will get him to go confirm this rumour :))

Should be fine as I'm sure he'll stick to the Lockdown restrictions!

He should rip up that league if he can screw the nut!
Wasted his chance at Rangers unfortunately. Hope Sunderland are covering his full wages?

What Jones and Edmunson did was stupid. They never went to training, they never got covid or passed it on. They were severely lunished by the SFA.
The scum went abroad, broke protocols, had players get covid and the SFA have taken no action. That is unforgivable
They could have easily caught the virus at the party and then spread it through the team at training.
They could have wrecked our season and therefore It is unforgivable.

They didn't go to training as the club got wind of their stupidity and told them to stay away before they caused possible problems

Silly boy. A chance of a lifetime wasted.
From a footballing point of view Sunderland probably wouldn't be a bad move for him.
From a personal point of view, being back in the North East of England won't be good for him unless he's screwed the nut big time - which he won't

There is a salary cap in League 1 with FFP

club have spent a 3rd season in that league to active it

You’re both right.

As far as Jones is concerned, the party isn’t the only time he’s shot his foot. He’s blown making a success of the biggest club he’ll ever play for, and he’s blown his chances of trophies.
