Well I know that but tonight is not the night.
Ridiculous that folk are trying to spin it any differently to be honest.
We are the biggest club in Scotland. Scotland is full of bams.
It’s unfortunate but there’s nothing the club or core support can do.
It’s a wider issue with Scottish society especially the lower class.
Haven't seen the videos but be careful what you see onlineThis is becoming pathetic now, fighting with police etc...
Absolutely spot on mate. See when we take away the football element, take away the celebration element and just put the young team and drink and drugs together, there’s ALWAYS gonna be fighting. Some folk just can’t see past it because we’ve been celebrating all day.Put 1000s of people anywhere full of drink you will get fights. There isnt one T in the Park i went to I didnt see scraps. F uck, there was hipster students bottling each other no that long ago in Kelvingrove. The spin from hurting puddle drinkers is predicable and boring. Had it been them same shit would have happened. They seem to have airbrushed the fact they were throwing shark barriers at polis a few months ago haha
Dictators, not willing to engage. Surely to fuk someone at a high level went - you know what, messages from Rangers arent stopping this, lets get infront of it.Bellahouston with big recycle bins, not hard is it! Fucking idiots couldn't even engage with anything other than what played out. Almost like that's exactly what they wanted? Ummmm
I brought a wrench and have taken one home for my garden!Aren't they bolted down ?
I have seen the videos, otherwise I wouldn't mention it.Haven't seen the videos but be careful what you see online
Seen a guy start arguing with police at GS. All the fans pulled him away to calm him down and he went back to the police before being backed away.
As he backed away he started chanting that sides shite
Like I said haven't seen the videos but I did see the above first hand. Could be an isolated case or could be more widespread. No clue. Just sharing my experience.
Glasgow Rangers Champions!
Music festivals experience the exact same issues, the pearl clutchers just aren't fixating on it.Saw plenty of people, particularly on social media, around about George Square, that I know for a fact haven’t been inside Ibrox for a game in years.
I imagine that was the case for a lot of people and I reckon a lot of those starting trouble with the police won’t be active supporters of the club when we’re not winning things.
Drink, drugs and making a cunt of it is a Scottish societal thing, it’s not unique to our support. It was always going to happen and it’s not something I’d waste my time worrying about.
Champions, lads. That’s the only thing that matters today.

It’s easy to make football the villain when you aren’t able to solve the deeper issues in society.Music festivals experience the exact same issues, the pearl clutchers just aren't fixating on it.
I once saw a Swedish female fan taking a pish in the gutter outside the Louden / Stadium bar at the Scotland v Sweden game at Ibrox back in the 1990s with loads of fans walking by. Good looking girl too!The most embarrasing picture I've seen, and I've seen it posted on English teams forums, is the 3 birds pishing in the street. No offence to the lassies who were there today but given the numbers that were out I would be surprised if 1 in 10 of them has a season
You've had a chug or two over it, haven't you?I once saw a Swedish female fan taking a pish in the gutter outside the Louden / Stadium bar at the Scotland v Sweden game with loads of fans walking by. Good looking girl too!
Wouldn’t matter if we were handing out free food and vaccinations, the headlines have been written.Good point. But headline tomorrow the big bad rangers
I would like to be sent this picture. The most embarrasing picture I've seen, and I've seen it posted on English teams forums, is the 3 birds pishing in the street. I brought a wrench and have taken one home for my garden!
Ned scum being ned scum.
Not really sure how you guard against it?
I think that people are just disappointed that after weeks of preparing for today it was bears fighting with bears.

Where are these videos ?guys can I ask is the video people saw of the group of maybe 15-20 in St Vincent place the same 1 of attacking police???. deary fucking me utter fucking idiots if it is then are just fucking dsfties
Posted all over Twitter unfortunately by mentally challengeds, left wingers and SNP nationalists. There are probably about 4 separate isolated instances of a disturbance but you can bet the narrative will be the entire day and everyone there was behaving like it!Where are these videos ?
Agree. Had a fabulous day but every support has grade a wanks. It thoroughly pisses me off that these tossers get the headlines while the rangers family has an amazing day. Grade a fuckwits.Fans fighting among themselves embarrassing
I came home from that with someone’s blood splattered all up my arm after about 12 guys decided to punch me at the same time.Try "Stone Roses" and "Glasgow Green".
Hipsters don’t drink in Kelvingrove because it’s full of bams.Put 1000s of people anywhere full of drink you will get fights. There isnt one T in the Park i went to I didnt see scraps. The police allowed people to congregate in town rather than escorting folk to nearby bellahouston park or even to Glasgow green. Putting everyone in such a tight enviroment and blocking off the surrounding streets seems a bit stupid to me.Absolute madness going to George Square in the first place with cameras everywhere, should have gone up to Bellahouston where people could act like dicks with fewer cameras around.
Fans fighting among themselves embarrassing
I wonder what the folk giving me abuse a month ago on a thread about George Square celebrations have to say now.
This is exactly why I said it was a bad idea to congregate there, it was always going to end with Ars*h*le’s in our support giving the majority a bad name.
It won’t happen though, the narrative will be Rangers fans fighting and causing trouble. So let the arseholes spoil it for every one else ?. Not for me, the vast majority enjoyed themselves and behaved. Hopefully cctv can catch the people causing trouble and hammer them.
It already is. An open goal for the media! It won’t happen though, the narrative will be Rangers fans fighting and causing trouble.

I got the subway to the stadium today and sitting across from me were six girls, probably late teens all decked out in Rangers gear and tanning cans of gin and when we got to the Ibrox stop they asked me "do we get off here for the stadium?"
Listen mate, no matter how well our support conducted themselves after that final whistle we were always going to be shown in a bad light. It won’t happen though, the narrative will be Rangers fans fighting and causing trouble.
Sorry to interrupt this heated debate with some flippancy, but I had to laugh there when I zoomed in on George Sq on Google maps and it said 'Busier than usual'
