Kerryfail Meltdown - It's the hope that kills you

As grim as their bench was tonight he was clearly sending a message to the board by not making changes earlier. Turnbull was goosed after 60mins, Edouard was clearly not even attempting to look busy and several others including McGregor were clearly struggling for fitness. Now a double whammy for them as Turnbull will most likely need a fortnights rest after playing well over his normal hour and then the rest of them played 120 mins tonight’s as Ange plays mind games with his superiors. Roll on Tynecastle.
Hearts need to go at them from the first minute and these guys will crumble ahead of their Euro tie next week. Delicious.
I would love to know how many games Turnbull has played 90 mins in...........seems to me he always gets the hook!!

The poor guy isn’t allowed to bring in even his own ball boy, let alone assistant manager. A hiding to nothing.

but he signed for paedo enablers and terrorist supporters, do fuk him!

we can enjoy the fall out. Hope he makes it past the window being slammed shut (on his fingers)

I’m not into getting carried away usually but there is absolutely no way that we don’t win the league this year. They were a total shambles and their manager is a clown. We are miles ahead of them in every department. Bring on the next 9 months
It's not even August yet. The league hasn't started and we are already ripping the pish. This coming season could actually be better and funnier than last season. They are about to Timplode, you can just feel it.

And to think that was probably their strongest team out there tonight..
Let that sink in B-)
That's similar to what I said earlier in thread.

That was their strongest Europe, league and domestic cup team they used. They don't have a squad.

And Ange didn't trust the bench, using only one sub in 90m.

The other 9 outfield will be knackered on Saturday.

Turnbull, Edouard and Soro are all trending on twitter and makes for good reading. Not for them though because they are being slaughtered.
Turnbull is now shite, Edouard is a fat lazy waster and Soro just kicks anything that moves.

Any Celtc fan with half a brain should be terrified after watching that But they seem to be trying to defend him as are the likes of Sutton.
There are two scenarios at play here.
1) He’s trying to diffuse an absolute shitshow and made an arse of doing it.
2) He is clueless as to what a defeat like this means in this city and/or is completely out of his depth.
Number 2

I think the subs thing might have been a bit of mind games with the board. As in, look at the absolute muck on here, that is somehow even worse than the muck that is already on the park.

Could backfire when they're all out of gas after 65 minutes at Tynecastle.

Ha ha what a rant on Kerrydale St about Liewell.. superb

Effing hate the carrot.

Artmedia. Utrecht. Braga. Sion. Legia. Maribor. Malmö. Ferencvaros. Cluj. AEK Athen. Sparta Prague. Sparta Prague two weeks later. Molde.

You are an absolute rat of a guy and today is on you cause you couldn’t sack your wife beating, lazy, sociopath project.

We needed a right back after you sanctioned selling two, and gave us Jonjoe Kenny on loan, that lead to Ralston tonight(he was actually ok).

He screwed up the Forster deal, watched Barkas play, and didn’t sanction a replacement or at least have one lined up in about the ten months it was proved he wasn’t good enough.

He is the guy who let Boli go who wasn’t good enough, got a guy on loan that wasn’t good enough, but didn’t have a structure in place to get a replacement or first choice.

He is the guy who didn’t have a structure in place to get centre backs in early when it was proved Duffy was rotten, and Julien has been out now for about six months.

He is the guy who didn’t have a structure in place to have a defensive midfielder lined up when everyone could see Soro is pish, and we have known for three months almost Brown is going.

He is the guy who didn’t have a striker lined up when we had Ajeti prove not good enough, or fit enough, Eduoard wanted away, and Griffiths was being released as he is a fat lazy waster who has since proved he is a nonce. He is also still a fat lazy waster, but good enough for this squad to flounder.

We went from Larsson, Sutton, Hairston, to those three in his tenure. When Bellamy was available, he wouldn’t pay the funds. His tenure can be best summed up by paying £1.5m on a loan deal for Henri Camara, he is crap, we get Bellamy later on, he is available for £6m, but he won’t pay it. On has no return on investment, the other would have potentially had a return. He is a piss poor businessman who’s final acts in the transfer market were considerable fees for Elyounoussi, a guy who didn’t fit the preferred style of play and cost upwards of £3m, Duffy on loan for about £3m including wages, a deal for Laxalt that cost god knows how much, and Jonjoe effing Kenny.

Slow in the transfer market, with micro managing, and penny pinching (unless for some reason it was for a loan deal).

Tonight’s result is on him, and it shows the is one of the thickest individuals in football. May he eff off and never come back the absolute parasite.

.... But, apart from that, thanks for your efforts. XX

I like Ange’s ideas in theory, inverted fullbacks give them numerical supremacy in the centre of the pitch, and likely leave their wingers one on one with opposition fullbacks but to try and implement that with a decimated squad who lack a proper back 4 and are likely struggling for confidence just strikes of arrogance.

A football manager with a philosophy is great, as long as their not at your club!

You need to be pragmatic, you can have the best ideas in the world but if you don’t have the players to implement it you’re pissing against the wind.

Warburton was the same, played an attractive style but needed better players to play his open style in the SPL but persevered when it was obvious we had to tighten up.

Ridiculously early to be saying this but I can’t see him managing them at the end of the season.
