World class players dont miss sitters?
Neither does Morelos.Every week.... I meant
In League One...Amazing that Daly scored more than Jelavic
I fully expect Morelos to exceed Boyds target of 31He has more or.less completely got rid of his tendency to miss easy chances as well, you just expect him to score now, and more importantly he expects to score, his confidence is through the roof.
and one that clearly crossed the line against killie away4 goals wrongly ruled offside I think as well.

I love him but world class players don't miss sitters. I think you are getting ahead of yourself there.
His last goal was brill last night, that was class but I can't help but think he needs to look up more before he shoots... he would probaly then be world class and his howlers might slowly dissapear. Just my opinion and not a dig.
Mental when you consider this guy hasn’t taken a single penalty.
I thought it was obvious sarcasm but as i said above, maybe it doesnt work without the rolling eyes smiley.
Said it on another thread last night, in my opinion he’s better than Jelavic who was the best striker I’d seen since Mols. There’s some other notable forwards in that period including De Boer and Cannigia etc. but Alfredo is seriously good. For me, he’s arguably the best striker we’ve had since Mols.
It’s really not unrealistic for us to be asking for a minimum of £20m this summer.
Negri scored all of those in 5 months.
Or, played in a team that was together a season too long? And played in a team on another level from the rest of the teams .
Still crazy when you think about thatNegri scored all of those in 5 months.
He would have set an unbreakable record if he'd played the full season and dare I say it, we'd have got 10 in a row.Still crazy when you think about that
... to pass Kris Boyd record.
With a minimum of 12 games left (11 League, 1 Scottish Cup) Alfie has already bagged 27 goals this season over all competitions.
Boyd holds the record this Millennium with 31 goals in season 2008-09.

1987-88 McCost (42)
1992-93 McCoist (49)
We are watching a master at work just now, would be stunning if we could hold on to him for at least another season.
I agree. If he'd been signed for half that he'd probably have been considered a decent signing. Players don't generally set their own price tags, and Murray overpaying wasn't his fault.Flo was a good player. Its just that for £12m everyone expected a world beater.
Jelavic was outstanding
Incredible amount of first time or one touch then finish goals when you watch them back

Look forward to watching him playing for and scoring lots of goals for a top class CL side in 5/6 years when at his peak.I love him but world class players don't miss sitters. I think you are getting ahead of yourself there.

He was only a flop because of his fee.Flo was a suprise for me thought he was a flop?
You missed Aguero against Chelsea then.I love him but world class players don't miss sitters. I think you are getting ahead of yourself there.

People might argue about quality of leagues, opposition etc and say they can't be compared but I disagree. Aside from Rooney and Ronaldo none of the others were really at huge clubs/regulars or playing in the top league of their respective nations at that age. Therefore, I think it's a great comparison. Cheers for posting.Found this other beaut of a stat!
I liked him but yes the 12m was a tag around his neck and we were spoilt in that era really was porn wasn't itHe was only a flop because of his fee.
He’d have been a great player if he’d cost “only” £6m and his name didn’t become “£12m Tore Andre Flo”.
Remember him scoring 4 against Stenhousemuir then a hat trick a few weeks later.Did Daly really score 25 in a season? My memory has blocked much of that out!!
25 is right. 20 in the league, 3 in the cup and i think 2 in the challenge cup.Remember him scoring 4 against Stenhousemuir then a hat trick a few weeks later.
25 however does seem a tad over stated.
It's obviously a period I'd rather forget but reckon I must have been at about 70% of the games with not much recollectionRemember him scoring 4 against Stenhousemuir then a hat trick a few weeks later.
25 however does seem a tad over stated.
Neither does Morelos.
You missed Aguero against Chelsea then.
A ridiculous comment.
Look forward to watching him playing for and scoring lots of goals for a top class CL side in 5/6 years when at his peak.
We can dreamNo I would like him to be here with us in the CL.
Ridiculous amount of misses? That ratio (1 in 2. whatever strikes on target) is better than the majority of strikers you could name. I agree he can't be regarded as world class yet but that's only because he hasn't produced in a top 5 league or on the international stage (yet). However, to slate the lads finishing when he's scored a goal every other game continuously for 3 seasons borders on lunacy. His stats are 111 shots and 46 on target... ridiculous amount of misses...not quite world class.. YET!
I wouldn’t be claiming Morelos is world class at least for a while yet.His stats are 111 shots and 46 on target... ridiculous amount of misses...not quite world class.. YET!
What the hell are you talking about? Not every shot goes in? What a revelation that is. Messis stats are only 7% better. And hes had a lot more shots than Morelos so hes missed a lot more chances than Morelos. Maybe Barca should sell him?His stats are 111 shots and 46 on target... ridiculous amount of misses...not quite world class.. YET!
