Andy Halliday - Open Goal Interview

He lived the dream. A modern day Pioneer who behaved with courage and dignity through some very dark times and leaves with the club much stronger than how he found it. He should be very proud of his contribution to the club as a player.

Andy seems a bright guy and natural leader. Could see him going into coaching and management and being in the Ibrox dugout one day.
 
Would have loved him to be part of the squad that won 55. He lived the dream though and will have the memory of the semi final victory over them plus bouncing back from the Murty carry on to win MOTM in an Old Firm win at Ibrox.

Top, top guy. You can't help but love Halliday.

Can't help but love him as a guy, just the same as us. Sure he will be back in some capacity one day.

These interviews with Hill, Miller, Halliday, Windass, Foderingham etc just make you sigh at the ridiculous decisions that have been made in at the club before Gerrard. Appointing Caixinha, the Miller/Wallace situation, the Barton/Warburton situation. Unbelievable.
 
Just finished watching the full thing, absolutely class. A top guy. A player who respected everyone at Rangers from the bottom to the top, although he said Caixinha and Mark Allen tried to work him out the club but stood strong.

The stories about Gerrard drunk and Allan McGregor near the end were just something else

Loved that. The story about Wndass at Tynecastle had me in stitches. He's a natural story teller. Hope the lad carries on to good things
 
His four lads interview was really good also. Halliday is another one who praises Wallace and Miller and the commitment and passion the other two had for the team. Not always a popular opinion. Hope to see Andy back at the club some day, even if its to say goodbye to the fans.
You just know he cares so much - he will have a log in for FF

Brilliant, really enjoyed that. He lived the dream. Pissing myself when the boy said he was surprised at his favourite position after seeing his Mrs. Greegsy story is a belter
 
Thought 2 hours was a bit long but watched the full episode,really enjoyed that.Good luck Andy wherever you end up.
 
Listened to it earlier and really enjoyed his stories, was in fits of laughter at the Greegsy story just class hopefully Andy will get back to say a proper goodbye to everyone.

Ferry also deserves credit because he’s more relaxed in what hes doing enjoying the chat and then cutting back to a point that was made and getting Andy to think more and elaborate.

Pleased Andy actually picked the Ufa game from Gerrard period and focussed so much on it. Absolutely incredible effort and every player that played that night should always be credited for what they gave.
 
Theres loads of good ones but thats probably my favourite Open Goal interview. Absolute class from start to finish. Absolutely love andy halliday. Lived the dream. Hes like you or your mate as a football player. some boy.
